    After all this time hearing Stefan in English it still sounds weird to me hearing him in my own language. I still watch his English videos just because they’re faster than the German ones. Sorry for all of you depending on crappy YT subtitles.

    Great job Stefan! Based on the translation below, you did a great 60 second summary of Arc Overhangs!
    And thank you Joel for doing these 60 second interviews, it's high-pressure with the short time limit, but everyone who couldn't attend gets to experience a wide variety of booths in a single 15 minute video. Of course it's not the same as being there in-person, but it's the next best thing. RMRRF was amazing and I'm looking forward to the next one!

    Thank you Joel. I was at the RMRRF conference, but you don’t make it a point to speak to everyone or learn what is interesting about each individual or product. Your excellent video gave me so much information that I was not able to glean while there. What would be amazing for a convention is if on the night before, a video such as this was produced and went out to all attendees either by reservation or at the door. A roadmap to everything and everyone. All vendors were interesting and a wealth of Information. Thank you, excellent video!

    My table was to the left of Nerys' rockets, and had the dragons he was so worried about. The only table with a Prusa MK4 and a Bambu X1C side by side and took a ton of questions all weekend long about which one was my favorite, when did I use one over the other and more. I also lost count of how many high-fives I got to give Joel over the weekend. :)

    • @rcmaniac25
      @rcmaniac25 Год назад +4

      And I bothered Ian the whole time :P Lots of fun with Nerys nextdoor and great meeting and chatting with people. From the kids who wanted the little prints of dragons and Minecraft Creepers, to the adults who loved Ian's giant Spider Gwen and larger dragon prints, to people who had no idea about 3D printing and just heard about the show and wanted to check it out. My personal favorites were listening in on the Rack Robotics team (makers of the Powercore EDM machine) talking about the project, the challenges, and how they're doing... and having a in-depth discussion with a couple in their 80s, one of who used to be a chemist, explaining the different materials and additives to get different print properties. They had no reason to learn about 3D printing, but a show where they could walk around and see them in action... they seemed like they had a lot of fun.
      We even got a bonus high five from Joel and David after the event because we ran into them as we went to the airport :P

    • @nerys71
      @nerys71 Год назад

      For vendors there is a real genuine "cost" to attending anything but the most local of events (think day trip) air fair or travel gas tickets hotel rooms ($150 a night) food postage and maybe even employee pay. its very expensive to attend an event. the vendor turn out for RMRRF was actually quite excellent for a "first" event. considering the turn out I would expect to see more vendors next year for sure.

    A Revo "what" nozzle? Revo Belt? Bullet?

    • @nerys71
      @nerys71 Год назад +1

      belt printers at least most of them have the gantry at 45' angle. this is how they can do infinite length models.
      alas this means the nozzle is quite a bit closer to the bed since its also at a 45' angle so you need the extrudy bit to "stick out" a little more so the heater block etc.. does not scrap along the bed. that is what they did with the revo belt nozzles. they made the extrudy bit on the end stick out more to be belt compatible.

    • @runbuh
