I recently found out that he passed away.What a career he had!He was not only an amazing drummer but also a renaissance man.I am sad for his family and wife but also happy that he’s with the lord.Only the good die young.
So much music I identified with since the days where you wore out cassette tapes that were irreparable with scotch tape at some point!! SOMNABULISM is one of my favorite songs out of too many to list but this tune helped me to stand up in the dark times and keep moving!! A Master Piece collection of Thrash Metal!! Foi a primeira banda cristã que ouvi e me trouxe a palavra de Deus de um modo diferente. Oro a Deus pedindo conforto e alento para os amigos e familiares. A missão de Ted aqui na terra terminou e ele foi recolhido junto ao Pai, assim como foi Michael Bloodgood uma semana antes. Que o Bom Deus os acolha. 🙌🏼

I’m personally going to the website and buying some CDs.. I came back to The Lord Jesus about a year ago now. And now I want to listen to Christian music again. I appreciate my old Jesus metal more then ever now.. Thanks so much Ted,,you will be one of the first people I want to hang out with in heaven when I cross over…👍🏽🙏🏽

Unfortunately i just found out about this unfortunate news through a different youtube comment on skeezik delemma ..because i dont watch news cuz negative,.an ive been busy. Today is like it hapoened now but it was in late August 20 2022 .America an The Nations Tourniquet toured to R gonna miss An Aeesome Drummer who was self taught and also played aucoustic n electric guitar n wrote a majority of music .im so sad this day .This current generation doesnt have someene as talented like Ted Kirkpatrick .Ive been a dedicatted Fan since 1990 since Stop The Bleeding .i hope the other members of Tourniquet keep pushing on.
Eu tô até meio perdido ainda com a notícia, Torniquet é e sempre será a banda mais diferenciada que já ouvi, só não sei como será agora que só restou o Aaron,os duetos dele com o Luke me faziam ir a loucura e o Ted com seu jeito único de tocar bateria, Neil já foi um patamar acima,como um semideus,Portnoy é o pika,o Polvo é o Polvo 🐙,Eloy se tornou um verdadeiro monstro,desses que são meus bateras favoritos,mas o Ted era todos eles num só,e ainda sempre lutou pela causa animal 😭😔😞, é porque Deus chama aquelas pessoas maravilhosas por isso ele partiu 🤝🤘👊😫🙏

Primeira banda de metal que ouvi, me influenciou espiritualmente e musicalmente. Ted fez muito pela música cristã contemporânea e jamais será esquecido. Seu legado, talento e musicalidade são indeléveis e inconfundíveis. Siga em paz irmão, nos vemos do outro lado.
