Again, really important reminders. I remember regular visits to the vet for hotspots and ear infections early on until we learnt to minimise these. Luckily Garrus is from a reputable breeder and he’s healthy and happy. 🐕
Mine was just 5 yrs 5 days when suddenly passed out, and we tried to revive her and failed.. she show no sign of sickness but i notice 1 time few weeks before that she was crying for few seconds before she stop and act like nothing happened.. might be heart disease.. RIP my lovely Aiko ❤
Just an afterthought: Have you thought of publishing a book? Your channel has such valuable, important and necessary pointers for all Golden owners and prospective owners. Pages of beautiful pics would also be wonderful - a best seller. 👏
My dog is a Golden Retriever before 1 week she has a wound in her back leg it looks like hotspot and now it looks like cured but now since one week she has difficulty in walking, if she sleeps she can't able to stand her back legs doesn't support to stand for some time she will make noise while sleeping she can't able to walk in step if she walk she will call down and she shakes head up and down and she always lay down... What is the problem for her.
Puppies can generally stay home alone for 1h per month of age. For apartments you should leave them at doggy day care or have someone walk the dog to keep it company.
@@shivanshshukla8485 I think puppies are 1-3h and starring at 5-6 months old they can be left for 5h. I generally follow the 1h alone per month of age rule. I plan on putting my puppy in doggy day care for 5h x 5 days a week. Since I can’t always be at home with it. This is my 2025 first time dog aka golden retriever.

Cancer, cancer, and cancer, it's an epidemic among goldies.
They REALLY don't deserve that.
NOT AT ALL they are amazing breeds but there are so many diseases and stuff they get but even if mine was sick I’d love them the same

Our family wants to get a golden retriever. Do you think the dog will be okay even if we go to school and work? We live in an apartment...
There should be at least one companion to the retriever.....if you don't have time for retriever than forget about keeping them
For 3bhk it is good, but for 1or2 it will be not okay.
Not for more than 5 hrs, it can lead depression😐
