@@tom_farg Well, with all due respect, I don't accept it. The Beatles became too overly produced and esoteric to be a true rock & roll band in the end. Even they admitted that they were recording music that they could no longer perform live. They also fizzled out early with maybe a few years of solo act hits while the Rolling Stones churned out hits and sold-out world tours for decades after the demise of the Beatles. Even today, the Stones can fill stadiums across the world. The empirical truth is regardless of the bands' comparison to each other in 1970, the Stones have outperformed the Beatles in hits, albums, sold-out world tours, and longevity. That puts the Stones on top by most measures. I do like the Beatles too, but I'm more of a Wings fan.

This is why I say the Stones are the greatest Rock & Roll band of all time. They're just pure raw Rock & Roll all the time.

Rolling Stones no matter the age of the members is still a incredibly great band. I still miss Charlie cause he was the member I used to identify myself as even though I don't play drums. 😊

I miss Charlie. I knock some sticks once in a while and Charlie has been my inspiration and ideal for more than 3 decades. The drummer I look for and humbly aspire to become one day. Impossible task but noble persuit nevertheless. Never forgotten. Exemplar and legendary attitude, posture and approach to the instrument as well as the industry and music in itself. May he rest in peace because his rocking and rolling will live forever. Long live the Stones ❤️
