Good to see a fellow Aussie giving his Love to people in Laos again, good onya buddy.
Hey Todd, I worked on that mine for years running the UXO Clearance and I can tell you that the mine has done a great deal for the local community they have put massive amounts of money into the local district authorities and the government but that is where the problem lies the money once it goes to the authorities it disappeared. So not really something the mine can fix mate.
And the blow out at the top of the bomb casing looks to me like it has been attacked with a cracker barrel, which essentially is a solid steel disk fired into the bomb with high explosive to open the case up, so the filling can be burnt out. We used to do it all the time.
The red guards are UXO Technician vehicles, HALO is British but the US flags are there as the US would be funding those projects mate
Seasons Greetings, enjoy all your content immensely. All the very best. David.
Thank you so much David 🎄
Thanks Todd and gang. Interesting locality where you are ,with the mining and war history.Ha ha....Mina chillin out in the wardrobe ..😊...Cheers...Kenno
The year is coming to a close. What do you think is your biggest takeaway from this year ? We kind of know what it is. Thank you for the great videos you have done this year.
And thank you for all the hard work that goes into them. All the best my friend 🙏❤🙏 from Jim and Harriet
Always good to see you three because it makes happy ;)
A joy for me to see the medicine bags being distributed. Thanks to Mina, Neenee, and you for doing this.
Gotta admit there at the end where you were walking and talking about the Ho Chi Min trail, I was distracted by that herd of black goat's tracking right with you. 😂
Beautiful people greetings from Wyoming U.S
Hi tod same as always great video
Cook pak-a-pow moo myself back here in the states. One of my favorits...Love it.
A visit to.the UXE center in Luang Prabang is definitely worth a visit to see their exhibit and help the incredible work they are doing. An eye opener 😢
Hi Todd was good to meet you, hope you found ice cream, now in Cambodia .
,
Xepon has changed SO much in my ten years away 😮
🤗🙏🏼!
Great video, enjoyed it, thank you.
Have a wonderful day ❤
Hi Tèo.. hope you're enjoying your time here 👋
@ Hi Todd!
Yes, I am, very much, thank you. Although, I didn’t make it to the South ☹️, perhaps next time🤞. Vangvieng and Meuang Feuang trip is coming up, it’ll be fun 🤩. Sadly though, there’s only a VERY SHORT week left 😭after that.
Take care ❤️
Ha, Todd, you get the same haircut that I get. BLT E 20 is over and looking for BLT E 21 for the history lessons. Thanks for all you guys do for Lao people.
Hello Todd , binge watching your vlogs , keep them coming .
The shell at the hotel may have been decommissioned with a shape charge , burns out the explosives.
Best wishes to you Nene and Mina . Merry Xmas
£18 for haircut in the UK! I'm growing mine out until I get to Laos.
that was tongue cheek mate {consistent with the roads}
💯🔥💙👍
It's quite alright & thank you Todd
Hello, sabaidee, kob jai, your Laos language skills are getting better. Thanks for sharing.
That hotel reminds me of yah favourite hotel chain....As for the funny hole in that shell I am guessing termites or a Tassie devil
Next time your in Vilabouly, let me know I’ll get Nit to arrange a ride on her families tok tok and get her brother to take you out to their farm and take you fishing in their fish ponds. I’m loving the videos, there is also a lookout just past the big servo there where you can checkout the big mine. You’re doing a great job with the videos mate.
Another great video!
9:01 ... your Queen good a very cool pair of sunglasses . I like
Hey Bro,,nice to see a less muddy day.😂😅 Did my cute niece get her swimming pool at the hotel? I thought it may have been in back. I think that bomb must have had a premature detonation,,or something..who knows,,on that one. Nice to see happy smile on the faces of the gift bags. Im proud of you guys. Its cool that Mina is taking a more active role too.❤❤❤❤ Take cale Hales family😁Ttyl,,,Marlon
I've heard of Wardrobe Drinking but Wardrobe Thinking with Mena is a new one. The old short back and sides Todd prices from 60s. Bushyboy Oz.
Good haircut Todd.
8:29 ... ... beatius est magis dare quam accipere 🙏🏻
Totally agree that mining companies pay for road upgrades, they come in take what they want (for huge profits) then p-ss off after that and leave a mess behind. The Gov gets royalties but put little of that into local need and wants. The locals always miss out.
The mine put in a lot of money, the problem wasn't the mine not wanting to do, but more the local authorities misappropriating what was given.
Dud, incomplete detonation. Only the primer exploded and not the main charge?
No it is a low order attack with a cracker barrel charge to open the case to allow the fill to be burnt out mate
Detonator! primer is small arms
@JohnCSmith-fs4yc actually both detonator and primer are important parts of the explosive train, so no, it is not just for small arms mate!
@laithstevens gtfoh I'll compare my resume as retired Marine against your K-a-hunt trill 🫏 Anytime gfy
@laithstevens Dolt
Video of the museum? 🙏
🤩😍🥰ຂອບໃຈ🙏😇
Where did you eat lunch the mechanics shop?
$1.50 haircuts 👍wish I can get one to Todd!
Does it have a swimming pool. 😂That's Mina for sure. You know what they say about the trucks with the cab over? If you get in a wreck you're the first one there. 🤕
sabaidee guys
The bomb: the detonator fired & the high explosives didn't, technically a dud 💣
Little girl she is not at school she's travelling with you most of the time 😂😂
When ya finished laughing, try checking out the dates that I put on every video. This was in Aug, the rain season.. school is off for 🤣
Good evening Todd,
I 'm your FC from U. S I wonder if you can visiting king- chao Anouvong's family in Sepon city too? My family maybe related to him? & I willing to cover whatever your expenses to you
Thank you
Sorry Au, we're not in Xepon now. This series of videos was captured in August. 🙏
You can't call Meena a Mandingo😂
That's crazy that BOMB has been hit with a bomb.
Why dont you buy clippers and do it yourself?
Get the missus to do the line at the back
I do have clippers but don't take them traveling with us. Much more interesting visiting barbers while away, plus it's helping the locals 👌😉
@@NowinLao I was wondering the same thing. Good answer. Love is paying for a hair cut.
I see you carry your own spoon with you where ever you go. I don't even have a silver spoon!
No seatbelts!!
🏆
Why don't you equate the currency rate in AUD instead of USD as most of your viewers are Australian, I lived in Lao for 22 years and came back to Australia in 2018, I also worked close for Pan Aud mining which is close to where you are, I am coming back to retire in Thailand soon as better infrastructure, services and dental and medical.
@paulwilkinson839 lol.. you'd think so yes, but that's where you're wrong. More than 40% of my audience is from the US. Australians only make up around 15% of my views. Also, most people around the world know the value of $US compared to their own country's currency, which can't be said for $AU 😉
