Saysathan.. a district in the north western province of Xayaboury is regarded as the poorest district in all of Laos.. and I'd believe it with how isolated they are and the villagers we seen coming through these endless mountains

Those who have been following for a while know it was never about the numbers. It was always about creating videos I enjoy watching. Music I enjoy listening to. It was always for my self and my family first.. it just so happened I found an audience that enjoyed them also.. and for that I am very grateful. Just by clicking on my videos you all contributed to helping me continue to stay afloat during Covid and the unemployment that followed because of it. Without this channel and my loyal supporters and Patrons I would not be in the position I am now to continue to create videos and help those along the way. What's next.. a 100K..? Hmm It doesn't matter really, I love what I'm doing and I've met subscribers who have become great friends. That's what's most important! While ever I'm enjoying myself, meeting wonderful people and being able to help others, I will always continue to crank out the vids.

hard to comment in words Todd and Neenee... every video has something that to comment on is just not enough. Safe travels. And I agree with Neenee, the coolest strange pine❣️ Beckons the wonder what a forest there would like? Every one of us have to scratch something on this earth to get by. Just gobsmacked that hillside couple 20p per kilo to work that ...and the ‘town’ had sidewalks with smiley faced locals. You don’t find that here...

The most important thing in life is the Life's essentials like :-
Water
Health
Electricity
School and
Health.
Once those basics are there, the people's organic lifestyle become the best of the kind of artificial life we find in cities.
I would add, low population density, community cohesion, low possibility of extreme weather events, and low stress levels. All of the things that are easy to find in this part of the world.

Looking at the deforestation & wash seats on the hill below where the village is situated, I suspect that those homes will one day sadly end up at the bottom of the ravine?
Hi Todd, looking at the geographical landscape there, ie, the buildings are all on the side of the hills, i'm just wondering if earthquakes happen there? I'm thinking maybe not on the 'ring of fire',? Bob. Lower Hutt.
There are some minor earth quakes in some area's but not this one, unlike kiwi land. They also don't need to worry about floods wild fires, rising sea levels, tornadoes, or freezing arctic blats.
Rather live there than most inner cities around the world or here in US.You need to buy Dao 3 in 1 instant coffee. Not bad. We always carry on the road. We use our gutters here to collect water for plants. Collect in tank.

By spending countless hours searching for remixes or covers that aren't detected by RUclipss copyright software.. sometimes I'll find a dozen possibilities, test them and maybe get one or two I can use. Just recently I spent the best part of a day finding about 8 tracks, tested them.. and all were detected. Couldn't use one. I guess most people don't have the patience.. but I like good music 😉

Don't worry, Laos has high speed trains
As far as i can see ,even if Laos is poor and still communist, and even in the most poor places, it is much cleaner, and better ,from other Asian countries such as Thailand, . Also the poor homes are much better and cleaner ,organised, and people are nice dressed and clean.
Their poorest arent poor if they have 3-6 children each. Children are the value in that country, unlike the western consumerism ))
