The Ribblehead Viaduct is so cool and reminds me of the railway track I saw while running the Northumberland Coastal Marathon course. I love the little portals too, they're wonderful 😄

Well done on making the summit of the last of the 3 peaks Olga. I did Pen-y-ghent about 4 years ago with my 2 youngest. It lived up to its name of being a windy summit. I can’t remember if I’ve climbed Whernside but I definitely did Ingleborough when I was in the Army in about 1998. I still would like to try the 3 peaks as a trail run one day.
Looked like you all had a lovely day 😊

It must be about 15 years ago I was up Whernside, so way overdue a visit and such a glorious part of the country too. I well remember walking under that viaduct and what an impressive sight it was too. I was hiking in the Lakes yesterday and there was a Fell race on from Pooley Bridge to Ambleside, so I was looking out for you. That looked like you had a great days walk and a real nice loop in great weather, cheers Alan

Hi Alan, thank you for the comment. I am a bit careful racing during a day when it's hot. I am terrible in the heat. Most of races that I have put on here lately are evening races when the sun is not as brutal. I am fine running in any weather but the heat.

What a great day for peak number 3. Superb long distance views and cloud formations. It's a very modern trig point with its own QR code!
I remember the Settle Carlisle railway line being saved from closure in the late 80s or early 90s - thank goodness they reconsidered.

Oh, I was thinking how they make 24 miles out of this, they must do it by arranging the steep shortcuts then, is that right?

Great to see you in the Yorkshire Dales, this is a part of England I'm longing to visit - looks amazing! I hadn't heard of the Yorkshire Three Peaks before, thanks for introducing me to it although I don't think I stand much of a chance to complete it in 24 hours. Maybe 48! 😅. It looked really quite on the trail, was there anybody else up there or did you have it all to yourselves! Great video!

Hi Matt, we went in the evening intentionally to avoid the crowds. I like going in the evening during summer time because it doesn't get dark till late. The majority of people go first thing in the morning and then it becomes choka blocka. I like to avoid the masses.

Hi Sam, yes I did, but I didn't film it. I was not wearing a swimming suit. I went in my knickers and bra I thought Yiu Tube might not like it. It was a very secluded place you could literally swim naked there and noone would see.
