Yes, it was very easy to stay away from other people. Apart from the actual viaduct area (which was still far from crowded) we barely saw anyone. Much easier to social distance here than at our local parks!
The Viaduct is awesome, soooo huge. Wish I'd had energy to do this circular but was spent after Pen-y-Ghent 😂 Will have to go back and do this sometime! Saw a long goods train loaded with logs pass over yesterday, it was brilliant.
Absolutely loved this! The filming, editing and voiceover are all perfect. This looks like a gorgeous walk - one day I'll get up to the Yorkshire Dales and see it for myself 😊

hiya, I followed the route from your video, so easy to find, it's suitable for a family walk. Near the end of the route, I didn't walk diagonally across the field, cos there a public footpath leading back to viaduct. we had a lovely walk today, thanks.

Love the video. It's been on of the things on my photo hit list for years. It'd great if you had a pdf of the route with any photos of significant points on route to look for to make sure you're on the right path. Thanks for a great video :)
Thank you! No special permission needed...it's not uncommon for public footpaths to pass through farmland here. You just need to stick to countryside etiquette - be respectful, leave animals alone, don't damage anything, keep dogs under control etc 🙂 We even passed one of the farmers on our walk and he was very friendly!
Hmmm, I think you would be okay with it being an offroad pram, although bear in mind in this coming from someone without a pram! There's a bit of an uphill near the start (you can see near the beginning of the video) but after that it's pretty flat. Would your offroad pram be okay over areas where the ground is like this: 00:38 ? That would be my main concern for you. At the point where we reach Ivescar Farm and cut across the fields you can actually take a slightly different route which will be easier. A friend took me there a decade or so ago. Amazing structure. We didn't do the path though.
