  • Our second set two mornings later saw us change our spot, we herd there was a lot more fish out the front and a lot less weed, we got down to our spot around 7.30 and parked up and got the gear out.
This time we baited up and set the hooks out which made it easier and quicker to clip on as it headed for the horizon, the place looked fishy and as usual at this spot the water looked nice and clean. There was still a small swell around as the Seahorse made it's way out.
Stevo was keen to send it a little further and it made it's way out to around a Kilometer and a half. This time we let it soak for a good 50mins, being out so far it took awhile for the first hooks to start coming in - Most of the hooks were de-baited and this time we got 6 nice reds.
Although once again not a lot of fish it was still plenty for just the two of us and we were still in the North for a few more days.
It was a great morning - I just love being out there as the sun comes up it's a special time of the day...
    Tight lines
