Cheers man - nothing big this time but still a lot of fun with a few in the bin :-)
Be nice to have some better gear sometimes but comes out not to bad with just a couple of GoPro and a bit of knowledge from getting out there and doing it - what it's mainly about is it's great to just share with you guys what we get up to.
Tight lines and have a Merry Xmas and a safe and happy new year

Thanks for the Video. I live in the North Shore City, Auckland and I don't have any experience with fishing. I was thinking to try it (may be rock / beach / wharf fishing). Could you please suggest a rod and reel combo which is not that expensive for a beginner like me? Thanks in advance.

Hi M Rahman - if you look for a 12ft 2pce surfcast combo that will suit all of the above you are looking at doing. You could look for the 12ft Pioneer Momentum which is a decent beginner combo - www.marine-deals.co.nz/pioneer-momentum-ms-7000-surfcasting-combo-with-line-12ft-8-10kg-2pc - when buying you just need to make sure you look after it a little better. You can look at the maxistrike warehouse 12ft but is a little cheap on the reel. You can also look at a Jarvis walker or Okuma set just depends on how much you want to spend...
Make sure you check out some of my surfcasting videos for some tips and tricks for around the bays etc
