we dont seem to get the gurnard numbers up here dargaville way ,,plenty of snapper but i would rather eat gurnard,,,uretiti beach fishing real well at the moment,,lot of good fish over the 50cm range
Hello from Sunny South Africa. Thanks for another epic vid. I have a question for the contiki fishermen. Fish like reef, aren't you worried about your hooks getting stuck on reef... or do you fish sandy bottom only?
Cheers mc7203 and hello from NZ... Yep these are used off beaches or sometimes rocks that have sand out in front of them. They do snag occasionally when trying somewhere new that may have low lying reef or even wrecks. Most of our beaches are reef free (especially the west coast) but you do have to really know your spots. The main line is 180/200lb with traces only being 50-80lb so most times these get stuck and break. Have had a couple of break offs due to sharks only no snags. Tight lines

I noticed alot of green on your traces , do you find green works better?
A lot of it will be like lumo beads and lumo tubing - I find pink to be a great attractant but also anything that glows.
Hoi i want to have one adress of telefoonnummer thank je
