    He was peerless at what he did. The last few years of his life saw him deeply depressed over the deaths of his mother, brother Tom Conway, & third wife, Benita Hume (Ronald Colman's widow), all in the same year. He also had a diagnosis of dementia & a mild stroke. It just all became too much. 😔

    The first I recall his voice was the villainous shere khan in the jungle book was when my sisters and I were babies/toddlers with the Disney classic vhs’s.😊
