Twilight Princess is probably my favorite. It was my introduction to the franchise and TP to me is like shadow of the colossus to other people. The graphics are so charming to me and the story is kinda in a sweet spot in the timeline, after majoras mask but returning to hyrule.
They made twilight princess so dark because Nintendo felt that windwaker was too soft. They are both good games but that’s crazy because they are completely opposite in art. Only one I can’t stand is skyward sword, those mechanics suck
the answer can only be OoT or Majora's Mask, and it's not because of the nostalgia... those games were launched like 25 years ago and have more mechanic features than most of any games we have nowadays
Majoras Mask OoT (best for rando) the rest are all equally flawed Wind Waker, BotW and Skyward Sword are all huge worlds with nothing to see. Skyward sword has prolly the most interesting dungeons, but having a pickup animation for every damn jade is already a huge downside. Also motion controls. TP is just boring, I know people like the dark and gritty style, but it's just huge meh. BotW has no dungeons to write home about and the content is copy pasted a million times, also Voice acting ugh 2D Zeldas is entirely different beast

I firmly believe the spot is between Windwaker and Twilight Princess, those are magnificent games lorewise, gameplay, art and direction
