@@shaunjacobalde6345 Loving it. It's a different vibe entirely but it's pretty well matched to where I'm at now. Of course it's so personal to Phoebe, but from those haunting intro strings to the chaos of I Know The End I'm hooked. I've yet again had it on repeat. I feel like it's such a good summary of 2020 and the mess it has become for everyone haha Phoebe's a gem. What about you man?
@@chillednshit I've found it exactly the same as you did! When those strings from DVD Menu appeared, I knew right away that this was gonna be a more atmospheric and dynamic record. Also, no matter how one can describe that soul-crushing ending of I Know The End, you gotta hear it to believe it, man. Another wonderful thing about the record is the softer cuts, with instrumentals that are comfy af but also sad
Shaun Alde Comfy.. comfortable, comforting? Actually a great way to describe Phoebe's sound. Especially as you said on those softer tracks. Like a dull, sad ache, yet comforting. Hmm.. I'd have to say I Know The End is my favourite. Favourite on Stranger is Smoke Signals I think. Still gets me haha how about you man?

Great performance, I just can't get over how poorly mixed it is. (Especially for just two things, voice and guitar). Not sure the exact term, but her voice hits the limit of whatever she's recording into and distorts.
It's the technician, not the mic.
