I believe the 2024 comes with battery pre-heating and a much improved trip planner. These make the id.4 an improved long range EV. Why weren’t these important upgrades mentioned?
Not sure why VW did not push the new infotainment system, battery, improved range, and motors to the sub Pro S line. Heard that it something to do with EU. Anyway, that version is much more improved.
Per the description "This video is a compilation of our Volkswagen ID.4 coverage so far through the 2024 model year." The chapter headings say the 2024 portion is at 22:34
VW has improved the ID 4 substantially with greater horsepower and better infotainment, but I want a heat pump and I really dislike haptic controls and sliders. The thing with the window controls is just baffling. I was hoping VW would change direction with all that but instead they’ve doubled down on it and put the same controls in all of their EVs. I’d might put up with them if I wanted an ID buzz as that’s a very unique car, the ID 4 has lots of competition so I can be choosy.
