Want to love the A45s, but at the price point there are better options with more HP stock and room for improvement. But also, going the hot hatch route you could get a golf 8 which at a stage 1+ tune gets you to 450 HP and over 500 stage 2. For about 30k less even w a markup. Very happy you got another car you can be excited about and toy with! Enjoy!
Just curious what is the all-wheel drive dyno horsepower? What formula are you using to convert to brake horsepower? 20% driveline loss? Also is that 1 ft roll out on your device?
EST PERFORMANCE recently did their stage 3 Littco 540 and meth package on my PFL and wound her up to 530 BHP, People just don't understand how these little cars pull once EST have had their hands on them, insane. Mine sticks to the backside of my mates Lambo hurrucan and he cannot lose me until we get to around 100 mph straight line racing, then he will start to get away. I would not allow ANYBODY else to tune my A45, even if they offered to do it for free !!
One hand this 4 cylinder is a master piece but it really can’t compare to the 5 cylinder of the rs3. I mean stage 2 and only +80hp from factory specs is not much.. also 4 cylinder making 500hp how long is it going to last for daily use and how much more power will you be able to squeeze out of it without breaking? And talking for a person that like to tune his cars.. that’s for sure a no for choosing an a45s in this price range performance wise..
It's a good car if u want it to have warranty and out the box stock vs stock pretty much kills most things and supercars on a daily driving basis. If u thinking about tuning, well an rs3 or m140i has a bigger displacement so more power can be gained however with the likes of renntech and others u can get this a45s reaching close to 700bhp.
@@suhail1200 for sure but even stock the a45s loses to an rs3.. of course it’s a great car I’m not even talking about this but if I had the money I would definitely take the rs3 without consideration.. the only thing that would make me pick the a45s would be the interior design but in every other aspect it loses to rs3..
Im curious why your 0-60 is about .3-.4 slower then a basic modded G80CXD. Eventuri & exhaust the G80CXD is 2.9-3.1 seconds on unprepped. I would think your 0-60 would have been around 2.95-3.15 area... A54S weighs about 500lbs less than a G80CXD, so I would imagined it would have been a bit quicker given the G80CXD times. Perhaps need tires & trans tune now? 500BHP & 650NM in a AWD car that only weighs 3450lbs I would think should be able to hit 3 flat with quality tires & trans tune on unprepped surface... I think once you dial in a few things, your car will be much much faster then it showed in this video, while I know you had some parts in the boot which hurt a little, but even without the extra weight I think shes got a bit more in her to give... I wish the A45S was available in the states, would love to own one to park beside my G80CXD. Im partial to AWD performance cars, and what BMW did with their XDrive on their new M3+M4 is amazing. All the practicality and performance versatility of AWD, but still drives like a RWD car... A bit heavier than id like, (Why I also love the RS3), but BMW did a good job in masking the weight, even in the sharps.. Love the car man, enjoy it! Cheers
@OverGrownApe_001 you don't get what I mean!! Stock power is 421bhp and with FBO stage 2 add 80hp only. FBO stage 2 m340i also make 500bhp but b58 can go further. It doesn't stop at 500bhp as the engine is capable of making more than 1200awhp / 1350bhp !! Tell me the highest number a45s engine can make!!

Just a tip, don’t hold the paddle tap it , you can gradually raise it and lower it to your liking
Can you elaborate on this a bit more?
@@dh-ro6gh each time you tap the paddle, it raises the limiter slightly. so you can pick how much you want by how many times you tap it

B58 is a beast of an engine. But 500bhp from a 2 litre engine is very impressive
Hot hatch typically is a 4pot always has been, the 5 pot daza and 6cylinder b58 are on a different level, hyper hatch

There’s another stage 2 A45 doing 3.0 to 60
The 0-60 are inconsistent due to no tcu map. I believe they will sub 3 once the gearbox is unlocked
