- I head up to Cobra Sport with my Stage 2 A45S to have a new catback exhaust fitted! With my car already having the Cobra Sport 200-Cel Sports Cat fitted, it was only right to pair it with one of their catbacks. The seats in my cla 45 were comfy. Although my little boy kept banging his head on the plastic part so he didnt like them

You are right about the car coming alive on the move, 4 cylinders just dont sound too good in parked revs. For sure hitting 500hp now!

Have you removed the OPF? Isn't that illegal? OPFs have literally put me off of buying anything past a 2018/2019 car. I'm currently in the market for an A45s/CLA45s but I'm probably going to go for an older C63s (without any OPF or weird safety crap). How have you found the A45s with the safety systems etc?
Sounds nice but the cobra exhaust is restrictive but if your happy at 500hp it’s all good
Always had Cobra Systems on my cars, guys are amazing, they sound amazing and Jake and the team are just mega.
My opinion the best Exhaust for this car is capristo exhaust other lvl and sound !!!

These A45s are an absolute best of a car stock! but you’ve obviously done the right mods it’s a great looking car too best on the road in its class 👍
Sounds good Luke, nice choice, sounds just right IMO. Reminds me of my Edition 30 with a BCS power valve turbo back system, the noise was just perfect. Angry when you wanted it and OEM just cruising for longer runs. Great stuff looking forward to when someone cracks the gearbox on your car as I think that’s when your project will properly take off… literally 😂

no lights after mounting the 200 cells cat and full exshaust?
Couldn’t quite afford a new exhaust system for my a45s so opted to get it modified by PCW mods and got basically the same results.
That's probably the best option, pcw The A45s engine is so new, only 3 or 4 years old, who knows what the long-term effects of tuning are on that engine. Brabus stopped offering their engine update due to reliability problems. I am picking mine up soon and i dont think i will bother with engine modifications. New wheels and that eventuri induction kit and the exhaust tweak from pcw will be it.
Great job again, I have the cobra cat back non res rear box delete so I was anxious to find out what the car sounded like as I will be going stage 2 with the 200 cell cobra sports cat with the guys from est ,although you have opted for the resonated with rear box it doesn’t sound ridiculous so has put me more at ease with how mine may sound 😊 I must admit though even with mine still running the cat it’s still has louder cracks on upshifts and louder pops on deceleration than yours seems to do with the sports cat ?
Having said that looking forward to hearing it on your next video when you road test it properly.

His is a turboback, so yes. If it's a cat back, so from the catalytic converter and back, then no.
does this mean if i switch my a45s to a Fi exhaust, the pops and bangs will be the same as factory? meaning different pops are mapped to do that?

Did yours have an opf? Does removing opfs void insurance as its no longer "road legal", do you know?
Your insurance provider MUST be informed of ANY modifications to a vehicle, otherwise the insurance cover will be void...............

What is the point having a cat back it sounds so bad and having a car like that needs to be opened up properly that is what the car was made for nor to be quiet if you want a quick car gow and get diesel car or a little car that has no power
Blue smoke....... not a good sign.
I did make it clear in the video that the smoke is normal for a freshly fabricated exhaust.
@@hampshirephoto no its not. I have had many new exhaust systems on my cars and blue smoke is not normal, I was at cobra only a couple of weeks back with my megane rs 300 for a new system and no blue smoke.

@@isingh9670It's most definitely the new exhaust. I don't know the technical terms for it, but there's some stuff inside the new exhaust that needs to get burnt off, which causes the smoke.

Also watch any other new exhaust install and you will not see blue smoke.

Why is therr only a valve on one side? 🤔🤷♂️
That is as it should be, if you had a valve on both sides when the valves are closed the car literally wouldn’t be able to breathe.
