He can also be shot in that state and given his size a larger hitbox and activating the ultimate does not seem to give him shields. He would have to rely on supports to heal him while he bounces.
Tbf it does have a wide hitbox and iirc it is supposed to knock backto. Seems like it could be very disruptive for pushes. May need to have magneto or sue storm shield them though
Remember, they're buffing 2 mobility tanks. If they start receiving more play because of the buffs than Wolverine would begin to struggle against them more than he already does simply because if Cap or Venom are grabbed, they both have 0 reason to just stay where they are instead of hopping out. I think Wolverine suffers from only having one single role to fill and thats that. All the other characters to me feel like they can cover multiple jobs during a game, they have their specialties but can have a general impact. Wolverine excels at displacing a tank, like Groot, killing him and then moving on. If he is against a mobile tank, he's fucked, he can't just focus down healers like Ironfist/Spiderman because he has such reduced damage. If they gave him a better base damage against lower health pool heroes he would be a better hero overall.
The thing about grouping into a buff ball in this game is certain heroes can hard punish that kind of strategy like moon knight. He WANTS you to group together. There are different answers to different strats and that makes the game engaging imo.
"Deadpool only hinted at" I mean we have stuff in game that is Deadpool themed, so I'd say he's definitely coming. Personally i hope he's a vanguard, but with his abilities being regen instead of damage reduction. Picture him just standing there while Wolverine is trying to stab him to death! I'd love to see blackwidow get some sort of height advantage in her kit. Keep her fragile but let her grapple up to a point and sit there to get solid angles.

Widow is already fumbled as a hero. She's fragile with a melee secondary, a sprint that iron fist can catch up with, a sniper that isn't great at picking other dps as they escape easily and move Hella fast. They should have given her the stun guns instead of the dogshit batons.

Just cause some know how to melt talks with wolverine does not mean he is good. You can take hawkeye or hela or even namor and melt tanks fine too. You can take cloak and dagger and scarlet witch and melt them from distance. With wolverine you got to sneak in, meaning no contribution to team fight while you peeking around corners, or best case scenario is that you are so cracked that you dash in and butt grab them (those who know know), and even then you get focused and your passive has 2 min cd, which is too long. Like why would you do that if you can do it easier with hawkeye, hela, cloak, scarlet witch, namor from safe distance? Also he kills tanks and everything else in same time.... which again, all characters named above gonna not only melt tanks but kill everything else faster. Like why not run black panther or even iron fist (who can back up and self heal any time), and just oppress backline or delete them as they can't react to you? Wolverine is still garbo, even if select few know how to play him his kit, equal time to kill anything makes him pretty fucking bad.

I am pretty sure mr fantastic is going to be weak. Also them buffing wolverine and nerfing helen and hawkeye only makes me think that they might listen too much to the community. Wolverine is fine he has purpose. What might happen is that steamers might downplay their mains and overplay other characters to avoid nerfs and receive buffs like Smash.
People are overreacting over the ult. If people would pay attention, they would realize how easy to kill he likely is. He almost died even in the vid. He might be jumping, but he's still a huge target and has his regular health. It also looks really easy to heal through, because the window between each slam isn't small.

Hes not wrong, Overwatch does quite literally look like a copy when it comes to quality

@ It’s literally a cooldown adjustment, it’s not automatically an outright “buff”. It’ll be on something like taking a couple seconds off of his pounce or his slash combo so he can be more mobile. It’s not like they’re cranking his damage or anything

That's not the main reason wolverine is good against tanks. It's mostly because his damage is percentage of health instead of raw damage.

Anyone with half a brain can get diamond 2 and say he knows a ton about the game. Shift in wolverine has terrible hitbox, half the time you won't grab anything and when you do half the time they survive anyway because they just get perma healed.

I think they've done a careful job of introducing heroes that can tear apart problematic team comps, or even gameplay habits like just death balling. Even Namor and Iron man fair better against dive

Sometimes big streamers do watchalongs for esports, and their fans may not necessarily know or understand the game at all. Sometimes, you get friends that drag you to watch their favorite esports team duke it out, while you yourself don't know the game.
So yeah, there really is something obvious you were missing.

Just cause some know how to melt talks with wolverine does not mean he is good. You can take hawkeye or hela or even namor and melt tanks fine too. You can take cloak and dagger and scarlet witch and melt them from distance. With wolverine you got to sneak in, meaning no contribution to team fight while you peeking around corners, or best case scenario is that you are so cracked that you dash in and butt grab them (those who know know), and even then you get focused and your passive has 2 min cd, which is too long. Like why would you do that if you can do it easier with hawkeye, hela, cloak, scarlet witch, namor from safe distance?
Also he kills tanks and everything else in same time.... which again, all characters named above gonna not only melt tanks but kill everything else faster. Like why not run black panther or even iron fist (who can back up and self heal any time), and just oppress backline or delete them as they can't react to you? Wolverine is still garbo, even if select few know how to play him his kit, equal time to kill anything makes him pretty fucking bad.

I loved losing game after game in bronze while our Hawkeye sat back and farmed kills.
I am pretty sure mr fantastic is going to be weak. Also them buffing wolverine and nerfing helen and hawkeye only makes me think that they might listen too much to the community. Wolverine is fine he has purpose. What might happen is that steamers might downplay their mains and overplay other characters to avoid nerfs and receive buffs like Smash.

People are overreacting over the ult. If people would pay attention, they would realize how easy to kill he likely is. He almost died even in the vid. He might be jumping, but he's still a huge target and has his regular health. It also looks really easy to heal through, because the window between each slam isn't small.
