Hell, why not a Marvel vs Capcom style hero shooter with anime characters vs Marvel characters? Anime characters are basically the eastern version of superheroes after all, it would work so well; even if the balance in these games inevitably ends up shitty with so many characters, it would be a massively fun romp.

She knows he’s a hard working guy who maybe lost in his own world but everything he does it’s for the sake of everyone. Reed also loves Sue as well. It’s easy to forget that all the members of the four suffered the same accident. Nobody can better understand the four than each other. And Reed knows that Sue could be with anyone else but she knows that Reed can best understand her due to their closeness and the many adventures they have saving worlds. For that’s what many folks I find who dislike or clown on the F4 fail to get. They are not superheroes in the traditional sense. They are scientists, explorers and adventurers. Sue and the four seek to make the world a better place while exploring new worlds. It’s cool stuff.

I can play a character for the first time, read the abilities, and understand after a bit of gameplay. their kits feel like they make sense to the character, even to someone who doesn’t know the lore. but the game did just come out so there’s that too. idk it’s nice to not have to watch/read guides to be able to understand what I’m doing, I just wanna play the game

20:27 Hawkeye is so strong that he kills on accident most of the time. I had a match last night where I was getting clapped by a Hawkeye and every replay I watched was him aiming at my teammate, missing them, and getting me coming around a corner or something. It’s ridiculous
same, the amount of times I’ve been behind my team or peeking a corner and he’s just spamming in that general direction in the replay. it’s like if Widowmaker didn’t have to charge up shots, could just spam, headshot oneshot on body, etc a sniper that doesn’t seem to have any weaknesses (I’ve never played him so idk)
But headshot 250 dmg, is fine, as its not easy to hit them, it rewards good aimers, now if you nerf him, he literally will be unusable, as he dies fast and no escape option

Not only is English an incredibly difficult language to learn, but it is vastly different from Chinese. It has completely different characters and includes letters and sounds that don't even exist in the Chinese languages. As someone trying to learn a new language, this was very impressive to me.
That is demonstrably false with the caveat that you're addressing it globally as a hard language, which is false. English is a lingua franca, a trade language. A language that is simple enough to learn in a short matter of time and widespread enough to warrant that use since the 17th century (at minimum). The caveat being that relative to a Mandarin Chinese speaker due to a complete difference in phoneticisation (English is aphonetic, Chinese is phonetic), Alphabetical differences, Semantic differences, Phonemic and identification variance, and major inflectional differences to name only a few. English is very different to their native language. But that does not mean its components are equally difficult. Mandarin to English would take less time than English to Mandarin with the same level of teaching (assuming the resources are of the same level). So to summarise, English is a simple enough language to learn (usually recognised as category 2-3 which makes it easy to moderate) as its foundation is simpler than a large portion of languages but its difficulty can go much higher based on the native language of the person. English isn't a hard language in a vacuum, component wise it's about average and has less elements than notoriously difficult languages such as Hungarian, Icelandic, Mandarin and Arabic. The foundation is different, but the level of learning required from scratch is far less.
English is not incredibly difficult to learn, and most of us had to learn sounds that don't exist in our languages. English grammar is one of the simplest you'll find, same as Chinese. Try learning Polish mate, or Hungarian.
Additionally, all the (relevant) programming languages are in English. You must know English as a programmer, no matter where you are in the world, that's just how it is.

I like rivals. I also like overwatch. One thing Rivals has going for it is the relative ease of hero design in that these heroes all have preexisting powers and concepts. It does make it easier to pump them out because you can skip an entire step of the design process. It does benefit rivals that way. They will be able to release a lot of heroes quickly. Overwatch will never keep up with that.
@Kn1ghtborne Overwatch map pool is better and bigger, though that it a byproduct of the fact the game has been out for 8.5 years. Character design is all preference, but Rivals definitely is willing to make some wacky stuff that OW never would. Which is a breath of fresh air for the genre.

This game is Genuinely the definition of PEAK, the developers LITERALLY, CARE ABOUT THEIR FANS, and on top of that, the Devs themselves, ARE MARVEL FANS, and that’s why the comic accuracy is so AMAZING. Peak Game👌💯🔥
League is NOT fine dude, whoever said that has been playing it for years and has tons of assumed knowledge as a result. I’m 6 months into playing League and still only confidently know what 40-50% of the champs do or how they are played, not to mention the dozens of item and rune combinations that can be used individually against those champs or team compositions. BBC podcast, focused on improving at League, said there are 800+ abilities in the game to be memorized, which really sent home to me that League is the most daunting competitive game in existence for a new player to get into. Point being, yes it’ll definitely happen to Marvel over time, because it happens to every single hero team game. Apex Legends, Rainbow Six, League/DOTA, the list goes on. Within the last 2 years, I was a new player in both Apex and League, and am speaking from experience
I started League way back in season 2, and I can confidently say the game was much, much more fun back then. Things were less streamlined, the items and passives were sometimes more wacky with fun interactions, there were multiple seasonal maps and so much more. I lost interest when they removed teambuilder because that was the last mode you could still just play a game and have fun without someone raging that you want do do a silly build or an "off meta" champion in a certain lane.

Nah dota is a lot more daunting to start because not knowing what something does and how to play arround it means you will not be able to do anything in a seemingly bullshit way like being permanently stunned by a single hero that blinked on you from across the screen. It’s like most hereoes and even some items in dota are on the level of blitzcrank of if you don’t know how to play arround it you are just immediately fucked. Except most of them are not skillshots and will just always happen.
Rainbow Six isn't that bad because the operators are mostly consistent, the laser portal does as exactly as you would expect to, the smoke screen guy just puts a smokescreen. And most gadgets are simple (hammer guy has a hammer).
Tbf, one can reduce the complexity to learn by likening champs and their abilities to others, e.g. Blitz/Thresh/Nautilus hook core mechanic (of course if one wants to track cooldowns, tools like Blitz/Mobalytics/Porofessor help alot to quickly glean up champs,abilities with their stats like cooldown etc), or 'this champ'~'that champ with a twist'. But that requires a methodological approach and probably some initial knowledge to avoid not seeing the forest for the trees. (And knowledge where even to look for the tools).
I only wish the effects would go red too, they can make it a toggle if somebody wants, since keeping it blue helps to know what character it is. Also, Warlock skin is INSANE!
The attacks generally keep their identity, and the devs refuse to change the animations or designs of attacks with skins to help with player readability.
The main problem is that the only character who die during scarlet witch's ult is scarlet witch herself. So yeah, this ult is way worse than squirrel girls's one
It's not always instant kill though, I'm once try using Scarlet witches ult to cancel Hela ult but I can't even break her ult form. It did around 80% of Hela hp in her ult state.
15:01 having more characters in a game is actually a good thing specifically if its free to play and a skill based game it makes you invested to try other characters and it's free so there's no need to worry about not getting the characters you want to play, however in gacha genre it's not good for the new players to keep up with the phase of the game.
Seems they gotten better at making move sets for heroes. Because with every new one since beta, has made alot of older ones feel out-dated. Far as how you use something, then amount of things a hero can do has increased.
I have NEVER played a hero shooter in my life, but yesterday I played Marvel Rivals for an hour, and I have to say, I had fun, the game is fun, the characters are fun, it's everything a game should be and nothing more and nothing less. It reminded me of playing games 15-20 years ago, booting up a new experience for the first time and just playing for fun with a huge smile on my face. It just has that vibe.
Another reason for Marvel Rivals' slow recent drop could be that some people are waiting for the new season, knowing that they will lose their current Chrono Tokens at the end of the season anyway so there are fewer incentives for casual players who grinded quite a bit in the beginning to play right now.
@Papa_Ul it'd be cool if they at least find a way to retain some of what's earned since there are also tokens earned through achievement and permit mission. So the more you earn this season, the less you will earn going forward. If they are all going to waste, why not just do them when the new season starts :/

getting a skin in a video game can give a percieved advantage cause often times you gain a boost in morale, kinda like soldiers when theyre given the newest top of the line weapons. Storm didn't need any buff. Maybe some movement buff but thats it. People just dont know how to play with it, like Wolverine. After a deep guide, I went ranked in gold lobby with Storm and went 23 3 28. The problem is that EVERY SINGLE STORM I see (not the high rank ones) plays Storm like some kind of Iron Man, while she is meant to be used at the same height as the "non-flying" characters, she does more damage the closer she is to the floor. And she does TON of damage
She only got buffed by +5 damage per shot, doesn’t sound like much but it is a breakpoint that results in one shot less to kill against the average duelist when doing her combo.

Skins are a bit diffrent than "Fashion Show" because its good Entertainment and lets people be creative with their armors, mounts etc. Skins are usually just you spend some Money and you get a new looking Character. I can see a huge difference between the two. I dont care for Skins but the Wow Fashion Shows was a fun watch.
3:30 Wolverine and Scarlet Witch dmg is based off Max HP. Mr F gains temp hp over his Max HP has more range and mobility than Wolverine. If anything Mr F is set up to counter Wolverine not the other way around.
Simple solution to large playable characters is to introduce an NewPlayer mode (a mode that hero locks the harder to play heroes out of the mode for all players), this will allow new players to learn the base heroes and then when they've mastered the easy to intermediate characters they can they start playing on the full roster list
@@oldylad I don't like that and wouldn't want to see that for rivals. The system I was quoting was from Dota 2, the mode is called new player mode and does the exact above. It only allows players to select out of 15 heroes I believe.
One of the smartest minds, there are a small few who can match him and this is only due to their omnipotent powers. Many consider him the smartest but he has been outsmarted in strategy vs Charles Xavier for example.
We haven't even gotten The Invisible Woman in the MCU yet, but how much do you wanna bet they're gonna fuck up her design either with bad casting, bad wardrobe, or just not understand her powers. Come to think of it, that can apply to the rest of the Fantastic 4.

The mouse acceleration is just a placebo effect that everybody is falling for lmao. That setting you change it from windows. The game what it does is just recognize if you have that setting on IN YOUR WINDOWS itself. Instead of downloading the mod, I just changed it on my windows setting and thats it.

Yeah, Scarlet Witch's ult is really weak if you can kill her, but combine it with a groot ult that imobilizes people before hand, or give her pocket heals while ulting, a magneto shield, etc, etc, and she will fuck your day up real quick. That, or coming out of a strange portal, casting it inside of invisible woman's invisibility field, so on and so forth.
I saw another video where he used the Ult to move across the map hitting people, can get a lot of horizontal hopping with it to bounce around the back and return
Not gonna lie was expecting more from the Invisible Girl. In the comics she can make herself and anything else invisible, create barriers around ANY objects including putting a barrier around the head of someone suffocating them in the process or even crushing their heads or any organs by tightening said barrier. She is also immune to empath or any form of mental manipulation as well so if there's a character that confuses an opponent or changes perception she would be immune to that. She is also a black belt in Judo so she can get close and personal against opponents. Plus she is able to project force fields and push people around.
She already looks overtuned and some aspects of ur description are in her kit. Her ulti is insane amount of healing and aoe invis. Her 1st passive is invis, her 2nd passive is 3hit knockback on 3rd melee combo. She has a shield and her RMB is decent both as a dmging and healing tool. She also has a surprising amount of cc and displacement tools.
Let's wait for the 6 concord players to lose their mind over this

I can play a character for the first time, read the abilities, and understand after a bit of gameplay. their kits feel like they make sense to the character, even to someone who doesn’t know the lore. but the game did just come out so there’s that too. idk it’s nice to not have to watch/read guides to be able to understand what I’m doing, I just wanna play the game

Mister Fantastic was one of the strongest characters in Marvel's Ultimate Alliance.
It's one of my favourite Marvel games of all time. Back then I learned so much of the lore and characters thanks to that game.

That is demonstrably false with the caveat that you're addressing it globally as a hard language, which is false. English is a lingua franca, a trade language. A language that is simple enough to learn in a short matter of time and widespread enough to warrant that use since the 17th century (at minimum). The caveat being that relative to a Mandarin Chinese speaker due to a complete difference in phoneticisation (English is aphonetic, Chinese is phonetic), Alphabetical differences, Semantic differences, Phonemic and identification variance, and major inflectional differences to name only a few.
English is very different to their native language. But that does not mean its components are equally difficult. Mandarin to English would take less time than English to Mandarin with the same level of teaching (assuming the resources are of the same level).
So to summarise, English is a simple enough language to learn (usually recognised as category 2-3 which makes it easy to moderate) as its foundation is simpler than a large portion of languages but its difficulty can go much higher based on the native language of the person. English isn't a hard language in a vacuum, component wise it's about average and has less elements than notoriously difficult languages such as Hungarian, Icelandic, Mandarin and Arabic. The foundation is different, but the level of learning required from scratch is far less.
English is not incredibly difficult to learn, and most of us had to learn sounds that don't exist in our languages. English grammar is one of the simplest you'll find, same as Chinese.
Try learning Polish mate, or Hungarian.
Additionally, all the (relevant) programming languages are in English. You must know English as a programmer, no matter where you are in the world, that's just how it is.

I like rivals. I also like overwatch. One thing Rivals has going for it is the relative ease of hero design in that these heroes all have preexisting powers and concepts. It does make it easier to pump them out because you can skip an entire step of the design process. It does benefit rivals that way. They will be able to release a lot of heroes quickly. Overwatch will never keep up with that.
The good thing about rivals is that they made meele characters actually work and feel good.
Overwatch can’t compete with Marvel, period. Their characters aren’t as cool at all.
@Kn1ghtborne Overwatch map pool is better and bigger, though that it a byproduct of the fact the game has been out for 8.5 years. Character design is all preference, but Rivals definitely is willing to make some wacky stuff that OW never would. Which is a breath of fresh air for the genre.

League is NOT fine dude, whoever said that has been playing it for years and has tons of assumed knowledge as a result. I’m 6 months into playing League and still only confidently know what 40-50% of the champs do or how they are played, not to mention the dozens of item and rune combinations that can be used individually against those champs or team compositions. BBC podcast, focused on improving at League, said there are 800+ abilities in the game to be memorized, which really sent home to me that League is the most daunting competitive game in existence for a new player to get into.
Point being, yes it’ll definitely happen to Marvel over time, because it happens to every single hero team game. Apex Legends, Rainbow Six, League/DOTA, the list goes on. Within the last 2 years, I was a new player in both Apex and League, and am speaking from experience
I started League way back in season 2, and I can confidently say the game was much, much more fun back then. Things were less streamlined, the items and passives were sometimes more wacky with fun interactions, there were multiple seasonal maps and so much more. I lost interest when they removed teambuilder because that was the last mode you could still just play a game and have fun without someone raging that you want do do a silly build or an "off meta" champion in a certain lane.

Nah dota is a lot more daunting to start because not knowing what something does and how to play arround it means you will not be able to do anything in a seemingly bullshit way like being permanently stunned by a single hero that blinked on you from across the screen. It’s like most hereoes and even some items in dota are on the level of blitzcrank of if you don’t know how to play arround it you are just immediately fucked. Except most of them are not skillshots and will just always happen.
Rainbow Six isn't that bad because the operators are mostly consistent, the laser portal does as exactly as you would expect to, the smoke screen guy just puts a smokescreen. And most gadgets are simple (hammer guy has a hammer).
Tbf, one can reduce the complexity to learn by likening champs and their abilities to others, e.g. Blitz/Thresh/Nautilus hook core mechanic (of course if one wants to track cooldowns, tools like Blitz/Mobalytics/Porofessor help alot to quickly glean up champs,abilities with their stats like cooldown etc), or 'this champ'~'that champ with a twist'.
But that requires a methodological approach and probably some initial knowledge to avoid not seeing the forest for the trees. (And knowledge where even to look for the tools).

It's not always instant kill though, I'm once try using Scarlet witches ult to cancel Hela ult but I can't even break her ult form. It did around 80% of Hela hp in her ult state.

I have NEVER played a hero shooter in my life, but yesterday I played Marvel Rivals for an hour, and I have to say, I had fun, the game is fun, the characters are fun, it's everything a game should be and nothing more and nothing less.
It reminded me of playing games 15-20 years ago, booting up a new experience for the first time and just playing for fun with a huge smile on my face. It just has that vibe.

Another reason for Marvel Rivals' slow recent drop could be that some people are waiting for the new season, knowing that they will lose their current Chrono Tokens at the end of the season anyway so there are fewer incentives for casual players who grinded quite a bit in the beginning to play right now.

The problem is that EVERY SINGLE STORM I see (not the high rank ones) plays Storm like some kind of Iron Man, while she is meant to be used at the same height as the "non-flying" characters, she does more damage the closer she is to the floor. And she does TON of damage
She only got buffed by +5 damage per shot, doesn’t sound like much but it is a breakpoint that results in one shot less to kill against the average duelist when doing her combo.

Skins are a bit diffrent than "Fashion Show" because its good Entertainment and lets people be creative with their armors, mounts etc.
Skins are usually just you spend some Money and you get a new looking Character. I can see a huge difference between the two. I dont care for Skins but the Wow Fashion Shows was a fun watch.

Simple solution to large playable characters is to introduce an NewPlayer mode (a mode that hero locks the harder to play heroes out of the mode for all players), this will allow new players to learn the base heroes and then when they've mastered the easy to intermediate characters they can they start playing on the full roster list
Smite sorta does that just by locking gods until you either pay money or earn enough to unlock them, but yeah it helped me get good
@@oldylad I don't like that and wouldn't want to see that for rivals. The system I was quoting was from Dota 2, the mode is called new player mode and does the exact above. It only allows players to select out of 15 heroes I believe.

The mouse acceleration is just a placebo effect that everybody is falling for lmao. That setting you change it from windows. The game what it does is just recognize if you have that setting on IN YOUR WINDOWS itself. Instead of downloading the mod, I just changed it on my windows setting and thats it.

Yeah, Scarlet Witch's ult is really weak if you can kill her, but combine it with a groot ult that imobilizes people before hand, or give her pocket heals while ulting, a magneto shield, etc, etc, and she will fuck your day up real quick. That, or coming out of a strange portal, casting it inside of invisible woman's invisibility field, so on and so forth.

his ult slow them each hit this makes it super strong as it gives your team easy shots to land on them while theyre slowed.
Not gonna lie was expecting more from the Invisible Girl. In the comics she can make herself and anything else invisible, create barriers around ANY objects including putting a barrier around the head of someone suffocating them in the process or even crushing their heads or any organs by tightening said barrier. She is also immune to empath or any form of mental manipulation as well so if there's a character that confuses an opponent or changes perception she would be immune to that. She is also a black belt in Judo so she can get close and personal against opponents. Plus she is able to project force fields and push people around.
She already looks overtuned and some aspects of ur description are in her kit. Her ulti is insane amount of healing and aoe invis. Her 1st passive is invis, her 2nd passive is 3hit knockback on 3rd melee combo. She has a shield and her RMB is decent both as a dmging and healing tool. She also has a surprising amount of cc and displacement tools.
