    They are the Ei (Elektronska Industrija) brand from Yugoslavia. They are modeled after the Philips design and made with the famous "flat plate" Telefunken pre-amp audio tube. Supposed to be the best of the best tubes. I haven't used them before. I use JJ Electronics in my 6100LM. Some info on the Ei's at thetubestore.

    Those Ei 7025s are the shiznit! They have such a killer throaty tone, punchy without overwhelming muddy low end. I wish they weren't so rare.

    Sometimes that tone journey... is just the long way home. You keep coming back to what you know

      No kidding...when I saw him a few years back it was that old marshall on stage with him. The correct spec brahma does sou d I credible though. To me it is still the best module there ever was...yes I am including synergy.

    I'm pretty sure George was talking about the Brahma module and NOT the Super V module in this video to let everyone know. The Super V is based off a Vox amp and the Brahma is based on a Marshall. He just got them mixed up in the video. Dave Friedman's mod's on the Randall modules make them sound like $3000 amp's, no joke.
    The price is very fair and he is fast. I can't recommend him enough.

    I'de love to get one of those Randall 100's...had one with the modules at local G.C. 'used' for $954. Didn't Egnater invent the 'modules' for Randall; used them in his own amps as well.

      @randyroberts5127 6 лет назад

      I think the first module type amp was made by Seymore Duncan. But yeah, Egnater did the first ones Randall did.

      JktSd0r I heard a podcast from Greg Marra interviewing Bruce Egnator and he mentioned he had created that system way back. That was a killer interview. Guitar gear nerd talk, love it.

      He was backed up months just building rigs and doing mods and repairs long before he started the amp company. Remaining busy was never an issue.

    I was in yugoslovia back in 80 and 81. Visited the port town in the Adriatic sea. I was impressed that the backwards or stalled society of this country was about 40 years behind the modern world back then. Now this is not a hate on post. This is the clear and useful acceptance that the world and its many countries evolve with or with out the assistance of the great nations. Now if you factor in the Yugo and the many other post war offerings that the slovic countries have brought to the rest of the world. Its apparent that the world would like to devolve again, as to have reasonable prices and the ability to live in comfort for the rest of the class of the world. The 3rd world nations have been blessed that they were last. In as much as the offerings of up grading the countries to save money for the big 4....whether it be the tubes, the cars, the medicines, or a great variety of other benefits that can be brought from lesser nations back to the USA. We give plenty awareness of what can be a benefit as well as what can be for nought.

      JED TAYLOR and what was the name of that city? you are talking 100% nonsense their standard was around 2500$ income per month in start of 80s, also that EI is giant and were making stuff for marshalls, Philips and even your ITT. also i can bet you do not have clue were Yu is due to pls name that city or you was in some camp for poor western tourist.

      you may have some valid consideration for your points except for being there. What I experienced was not a long period of time but, in the sense of the things I saw at the time I did not see a major seaport atmosphere of say Miami seattle or new York What eas an industrial sea port of older buildings and little activity during our lst and then again when we returned after a period away. The illusion of what l saw could be attributed to the cold winter months when l was there. yet again it was represented in such a way of being in the midst of its own class inequality and internal concerns between its governing structure as well as the surrounding concerns that was our reason for being there to begin.
      My statement after considering what was said was not to be as negative as it seems you may read into it. It was shortly there after we left in the coming years that everything changed to recognize different social reforms and the change of the soviet political efforts and independent republics for many of the ethnic reforms though it took some considerable effort after the ussr let go. I did consider what I saw to be very picturesque of the same areas during ww2 had not jumped the starting gate after ww2 there were the basis of what I saw and read as to what I understood. I measure it as like the majority of Europe at the time being a matter of evolvinging at different rates. Allow me one consideration in respect to my thinking. As it were in America 50 years ago simplier times did not mean that they were bad times. You are right in respect that I would not know anything other thAn what my visit allowed It allowed me to feel compassion not pity

    • @James57AOL
      @James57AOL 9 лет назад

      considering the evening news and news paper editorials that allowed some evidence of what could be understood by visits. it was oft times a subject of internal re alignments throughout on several levels. One of the things l do remember fuel and the area being engulfed in several different Navys at the time

      JED TAYLOR anyhow nothing bad i was born in YU , raised etc till the war started during early 1990s, Yu always have a problem with SSSR due to we were 1st to point when they made massacre in Czechoslovakia, also YU was lieder of block of independent country etc, to be honest i do not know way US import those yugo car it was the worst car that were produced in that time, YU had better cars ''Florida'' and FIAT 128, i honestly du not know how that happened except that it was some deal b between 2 countries, YU was receiving weapon from US as well as from SSSR till 60s after that they started to produce their own weapon, for example YU was among few countries that have its own jet fighter galeb G$ you can check that as well as the best tank that had role in gulf war under name of ''vihor;;, YU was problem for the world that did not like powerful independent block and NATO did not wish to tolerate 4th military power to be in some independent block. anyhow you have right that i was not there and i do not know what was your impressions, also you have right to make your conclusion i ca not change that as well as i have right for my conclusion and impression of US , good thing is that world is changing and i can see that US now tray to have free health protection imho that is must for one developed country. i'm sorry if i misunderstood you and i had no intention to consider your writing as hate speech as you after all stated. Anyhow YU is long lost country, just in addition i grow up in new balance, Nike, Reebok, puma, i had all what every rich European or working class EU kid have, we have better standard then Italy, Spain, Belgium, Norway etc. of course i have Lewis 501 during 80s after that commercial, i drink coca cola Pepsi and other stuff that are not from US, i had my Fender in 1986, Marshall in same year , was crazy about skateboards etc but YU is guilty due to that stupid war and we allowed degradation of our people so nowadays in west they see people from here like some ;;Indians'', unfortunately that is truth, just remember how many basketball players were in NBA from YU, Divac, Stojakovic in Sacramento kings, Jaric in NY kinks etc after all divac was among 1st EU players in NBA he started in LA Lakers to together with Drazen Petrovic. Monika Seles tennis star took your citizenship and she bring a lot of grand slams in USA she was huge tennis queen and for long time No 1. anyhow al that is history now.....all good.

    I really dont even see why george has a signature randall-_- when my band opened for him in october of 2010, he had two marshalls on stage, which were some old super leads, i believe his famous 1968 was one of them, and then his randall...but he only used the randall on one or two songs out of like 12. I think he only has a signature model for money
