The recreation you did was brilliant. Great series. The way the coasters you built were just like the videos, I felt like I was a peep on the ride. Great job. Going to check out the CP series.
Thanks! I have been struggling to come up with good ways to show comparisons to the real park, and came up with this concept at the last minute. I think it worked out pretty well!
Random blast from the past in my youtube recs, was there soon after Talon opened (so nearly 22 years ago, jeez), and maybe a couple times in the years after. Really cool project and nice job covering some smaller parks.
In Shotcut, there's a filter called "time remap" which allows you to slow down or speed up video clips in chunks. I manually used keyframes to match up the POV clips with my own recordings. It's a bit of a pain to do, but it works pretty well.
Wheres the best place to find good reference pictures of parks? Cause I’m starting to building six flags Darien lake and I just need to find some good reference pictures.
I mostly use Google maps and Google street view. However, Google street view is often very outdated, so be careful with it. Other than that, there aren't many good sources unless you can find like a fan site or something.
@@fidwell Okay Cool. i tried google earth/google street view. but for darien lake there's only 3 views for 360 view. but i'll try to find pictures of other parts of the park. :)
