I thought a 10 inch rim was excessive for a 275. Used to be that tire stretch was for road courses, and flexible sidewalls was preferred for drag racing. Drag racing trends are constantly evolving.
Idk what’s happens to the videos if it’s on my half or y’all’s half but once in awhile I have a problem with the video where I watch two minutes in and then it will cut out and say something went wrong tap to retry so I’ll tap to retry and it don’t work and I’m never able to watch the video it’ll just keep doing it every time I try to watch the video
Keefe Spencer it depends on what style of racing you doing if your running a radial you need to go with a beadlock wheel but for no prep and promod stuff liners are better it allows for slippage which will help get down the track

4.39 on 14 wide right? Also look a Justin swanstrom he is running 275s on a 16 with up to 3000hp. I personally was womdering and was thinking about losing the tuning u need run low tire pressure but I guess was proven wrong
In the other video, I believe he was referencing that the tire is taken out of the tuning aspect, that you then rely on the shock. He also commented that if you had Menscers etc... you’d be fine. In other words, if you have a high end suspension set up, yes you can run the wider wheel, but if you don’t, run a wheel not as wide and you can adjust tire pressure as needed for track conditions.
