As a professional I felt compelled to post few points. First off Ms. swati says dont listen to mind ,listen to body etc , pointing on the direction of mind body dichotomy. Then she says trauma results in bodily sickness like ulcers and cancer .So isnt there a connection? Ulcers and exacerbation of cancer may happen to some degree due to trauma but not everything is as a result of Trauma. Gabor Mate’s over simplification of trauma can be refuted easily.India is one of the countries where everyday living can be traumatic for many people due to caste , poverty ,gender issues .Yet many come out safely . There is something called resilience in all of us.As a mental health professional I would try and foster resilience. If someone is stuck in trauma for a longtime despite all the therapy there can be many factors other than trauma itself. In a very speculative field as the study of mind being very certain about difficult to prove narratives is not healthy.
First take away don't jump into conclusions....part 3 was an extension to the the topic of Ying yang...enjoyed this episode and wish we get to see more .....do bring in navya Nair....feel she is a good orator who can reach out to the masses....common women....
Watched all three parts of your conversation with Swati. What an interesting, insightful conversation! Such self awareness!! I am in an awe listening to her. I got to know Swati through you, Dhanya. Thank you for intoducing such great personalities and being the safe yin energy to whom people open up genuinely 😍❤️ Adore your guests and conversations!
I say the best guest came to you is swathi jagdish!❤ I never knew her before watching this interview but now I just looove her❤ More power to you both❤🎉
@Dhanya … one of your best interviews so far for sure or the best…you are a great listener and that provides a space for people to open up which is really unique about you …what a bold subject discussed with Swati here …. socially so relevant … I really hope you bring her back . Please keep going…. You are doing a wonderful job …
I love that she talks about embracing femininity, but again its very important that both men and women tap into their respective feminine or yin energy to be there optimum whole selves but she rightfully said that its more important for women than men because its the more predominant source of power for a woman, the yin is where we are naturally more powerful so it is easier for us to excell in that and if we go after only masculine energy without ever realsing our yin power, we are at a loss!
Ying and Yang explanation was good. But her insta post and perception about feminism is very problematic because that is coming from lack of knowledge and her socio-economic privilege. We should be very careful about what we consume from social media
Truly amazing... it definitely makes others more aware about themselves.. and I have been following both of you since my plustwo times..now iam 23..and I really felt that iam much evolved even by watching this whole 3 episodes itself... really happy to invite Swati ma'am here.. and thankyou Dhanya ma'am for giving life to every conversations...this was amazing ❤🌼
Never, teachers in school are just doing a job. Some can be best in their job, some may not give their best, some may be stuck in their role. So how is it possible?
Bcoz she is more of talking about kids and education where gender roles or gender identity you start to develop once you start exploring. Until then it's just being curious.
Please bring DAKSHINA team...they well deserve a conversation.. and we are all happy to see them here..pleaseee❤❤

What you mentioned abt resilience is so true and it's indeed the area to ponder more, in today's times.

Parents are not best teachers , the schools must have best teachers ..,
Never, teachers in school are just doing a job. Some can be best in their job, some may not give their best, some may be stuck in their role. So how is it possible?
Parents are the first teachers and education starts at home.
Parents are not trained....but the teachers are ....
Education is a life long process. Learning happens with every interaction and it's not restricted to schooling alone.
In my opinion school system is for teaching that ....
which cannot be learned from home....
Please bring GP and Gopika
Ismt it about connecting inwards ( feminine ) and outward (musculine ) i think it has nothing to do with gender or sex
Yin - Yang
