We caught up with Tyler Courtney after his disappointing second-place finish in the Bob Weikert Memorial at Port Royal Speedway. Courtney discussed making a last-lap pass only to have the yellow come out, his car's speed at Port Royal, the disappointment of running second, and how anxious he is to return in September for the Tuscarora 50.

Tyler is a great driver and guy. His team is one of the best. He's a real competitor. He took over the HL points lead with this second place finish, but cared more about winning. There's a nick name for finishing second, it's called, first loser.
