Hi, want to buy the vertis but I am not sure which size I will take.
body length is about 1,83m and weight between 95-100kg.
Maybe you can give me a recommendation? ;)

Would you recommend this ski for someone whom is more towards a beginner level or is it really more directed towards Intermediate plus? I am 1.83m and around 85-88kgs (depending on beer consumption). I have just picked up skiing this winter as I have moved to Japan and I am looking to purchase my first set of ski's for next season, I will, at least for the foreseeable future be only riding on piste.....I like the brand story behind Black Crow but don't know enough to make a judgement on whether they are the right brand to pick up as your first set of ski's even with the Vertis being more towards the softer side of the market. Is there a boot you would recommend pairing with or is that simply to subjective? Pleased to hear your comments.....

Hi, thanks for watching. The Vertis is aimed at an intermediate skier, however it would be suitable for an adventurous beginner looking to ski a lot & progress. If you're out in Japan & getting a fair bit of piste skiing then yes, it'll would be a good choice. For boots, we'd always suggest visiting a good boot fitter. Your foot length, width & shape, plus a lot of other factors will come into it, so definitely spend the time to visit a specialist store that know whet they are talking about - if you're ever anywhere near Bournemouth in Dorset, then come & visit as we can do all of this for you. If not then find your local specialist ski boot fitter, there should be a good few options in resort in Japan.

Snowtrax thank you very much for the quick reply & comments - really appreciate the feedback. Afraid with Covid-19 the chances of a trip back to the UK are looking limited currently!

Hi Pierre, the Vertis is a good all round skis more geared to the pistes, so could be a good choice for you. We've sold out at the moment, but will have more available from October. I'd also check out the Rossignol Experience 84 - we have them on special offer at the moment, they are a brilliant all round ski & come with bindings - www.snowtraxstore.co.uk/skis/4928-rossignol-experience-84ai-ski-nx-konect-b90-binding-2020.html
