Don't get me wrong, grievous in the 2003 show was badass and had great feats to his name, but he's not as overpowered and unstoppable as everyone claim's he is.

He took down those two jedi knights and the clones in the chancellors office with minimal effort, no doubt...but the thing is, Dooku himself that if he were to succeed in combat against the best of the jedi, he must have fear, surprise and intimidation on his side. Against those two jedi, he sprung his two extra blades on them while he had their sabers pinned, surprise. Earlier he was stalking them throughout a warzone and shrugged off their every attempt to stop them like Jason Voorhees, so they were definitely afraid, and he looks intimidating enough so that basically fulfilled all of Dooku's quotas. But against Obi-Wan? He had none of those things. Obi-Wan wasn't afraid, he had seen and fought things far more visually intimidating ( Darth Maul), and it was HE who got the drop on grievous instead of the other way around. In short, I love both versions of grievous, but I think that the 2003 grievous is not some godlike figure who would speedblitz everyone he comes across, he is much more of a tactical fighter than an overwhelming force. ROTS grievous was forced into unwinnable circumstances and was forced to take the path that did not involve him either being cleaved into pieces before he could have a chance to draw his sabers ( Invisible Hand) or gunned down by a legion of clone troopers while his remaining two blades were pinned by one of the top duelists in the jedi at the time ( Utapau). In short, grievous in the 2003 series was him in the zone, when his tactics worked perfectly, ROTS showed him when he had exhausted his bag of tricks and his tactical advantage was rendered null. ( TCW grievous sucks though, no doubt about it. Losing to padawans and freaking Gungans...)
I love the marching sound in this, like an iron horde tromping across the plains and hills, trampling over everything green as they tirelessly and relentlessly march onward to their objective.

Legends grievous was a beast and a truly terrifying force. Shame how much of a coward he was later depicted. He is one of my favorite star wars characters.

I can’t take this serious bc grievous had about 10 mins screen time in episode 3 and 2 of them where him literally just dying. I mean in the clone wars he was sooo epic and in ROTS he just dies... cmon (Still best Star Wars film)
