So beautiful! I have a hall tree, coffee & side tables made from walnut and cedar trees I had to have cut down on my property in Arkansas. The trees were beautiful, but had to go from their location. A friend turned their wood into beautiful furniture for me that will last for generations. I am thankful for those of you that can woodwork masterpieces like these.

@@tumq-i2d You're right. The beautiful pieces mean so much to me because the friend was a brother-in-law. The marriage ended amicably, so he's still part of the "family." Every time I look at the pieces, I am reminded of all the labor he put into them, from cutting the trees himself, hauling them, cutting them, aging them, & turning them into the masterpieces he returned to me. I should mention that this talented man is also a Bluegrass Musician! Raymond Creasy. He has a RUclips channel. He's older now (aren't we all?) so no more cutting or hauling of trees. I think he still makes drums you sit on to play....

You created a beautiful table. My only preference would be to have the bowties on the underside of the table or at least make bowties out of matching wood. Good job, i would be proud to own this table❤
Эти "галстуки - бабочки", называются "шпонка" и это элемент крепежа, одной детали к другой, в данном случае тип "ласточкин хвост" 😉... насчет целесообразности их несквозного монтажа с тыльной стороны, пожалуй соглашусь ))
I love watching the process of raw wood into something beautiful right out of someone's imagination or pure inspiration from the wood! I do agree with the comments on the tie-ins on the top side. It's a tried & true solution, but esthetically, I would've used them on the underside.

It’s beautiful. The ties are symmetrical with the location to the pattern. They also break up the manotony of the same color wood. I commend you on a fantastic piece!
