I flew to Vegas and rented this 2022 Porsche 718 Spyder on Turo. In this video I give a tour of the car inside and out. And I also provide my impressions of driving the car.

Not necessary to be in the car or have the car on to open the top. Push and hold the unlock button on the key fob. That will pop the trunk, lower the side windows an few inches and release the top from the windshield. So you can skip directly unclicking the buttresses. Sub 30 second process once you're used to it.

I wish a Spyder RS was 160K. They still can go for well over 200K and, until recently, had HUGE dealer markups. The regular Spyders like this one run say 110K-140K depending on mileage, condition and frankly color among other things. You say the RS was coming out in early 2024. It's been out. I own a regular Spyder but with a 6 speed manual. 2023 was the last year for these. If you didn't like the top on this car, you'll dislike the RS top even more. This is essentially a convertible GT4 and is a "GT" Porsche. That's why there's those weight saving and limited options. Give or take!
