This was the best explanation of sidechaining and it wasn't even a video about side-chaining. Thanks A-Trak!
So basically you made A good Trak.
This was an excellent explanation, I mean there a a ton of video tutorials about using Serato studio, but most that I've seen are for hip-hop, but I really wanted to see a house tutorial and by far this was the best explained. Thanks for making it look so easy.
serato studio is the answer to a question no one had
Look at them monitors 🔥🔥
Brooooo you and Anna lunoe b2b for brownies and lemonade at Miami music week.... best set all week. One of the most fun I’ve ever seen. Please play with that woman every chance you get!
Quack is the dopest album of all time start to finish.
As is always the case, A- Trak the goat

Le patron comme toujours !
Damn I've been searching and trying to learn all the time on serato studio. This definitely taught me so much in 24 minutes. Super super helpful video 👏🤘
excellent job one of the best videos to make music thanks
Excellent tutorial - thanks so much!
Great one thank you 🙏
This is awesome so appreciative for your direction and the tutorial! So many hip hop tuts and no house or trance.
Would love to see A track do a hiphop totorial still use your ecratch records regularly g
Was this track ever released? I really dig it!

A-Trak's on fireeee
Love that hair!
Maybe next time, on the special episode of your Duck Duck Goose series, U and Armand will show us, how u made a certain track?
I'm still searching for the sample source of "I Don't Mind" as for now it's the only DS track, that people didn't found the sample source for!
(Literally, look on the whosampled site)
I'm glad i'm not the only one looking for it!
i appreciate this video/content. i just want the view to look more appealing and wider with a better grid. i wear glasses and the thought of me having to squint makes me say stick with any other d.a.w but this is a great tutorial. thanks
😎👍
what is that pad keyboard thing I need one
Can you use splice with Serato Studio?
Holyshit atrak letting his secrets out
Does anyone know what that little white thing is with the 5 black knobs next to the white figurine?
what studio monitors are they?
😀🖑❤👍
what speaker is white?
10:53 DMX x A-Trak lol
Having the option of snapping the markers to the beatgrid would be very welcomed, rather than manually doing it and eyeballing it.
What’s that DAW name ?
Would you recommend Serato studio over Ableton Live for someone with almost no experience?
If you're more performance/live oriented
@@MidnightCallingMusic i just want to make tunes. we have an ableton licence at my new job (not music related) so i guess ill just utilize that, but some of the theory here still applies. never had a good understanding of side chaining but this vid definitely helped my understanding by thinking of it as a volume cutoff
@@jackmiller8851 ableton is great but be prepared to either read the manual or watch a bunch of RUclips videos. Serato is very much streamlined and stripped of certain freedoms and utility that software like ableton / logic / cubase etc have. Seratos value is the fact that it's so streamlined and equipped with all the staples and generic samples, fx that you would find in most dance music. good luck and make sure you socialize with people that use the same software you choose. Community is invaluable to learning.
Very useful. Also Your “OK-AY” is just as iconic as your sounds. 😊
Atrak STAYS in the Pocket.
Ps...Re CLAP TRACKS: J’adore!
Beginner producer here. So people make music with already made loops? Like the piano he got he didn’t even play it, or bassline. Is that true producing? I know this is a video demo showing simplicity and i know A-Trak very talented but just wondering if i am doing too much making my own piano loops because im am going to take piano lessons.
Sample loops are fun to twist an effect to get new sounds but def make your own melody's an learn sound design be it software synths or hardware synths
ruclips.net/channel/UCqeYOThebLKYlvVeozxeR1Q you are welcome, bauer uses only samples for example
Jay Hankins yeah i play drums and want to learn additional instruments so to me it is more enjoyable creating everything from scratch. Thanks for your words.
CokeTube alright ill check it out, thanks.
this serato is bad just get ableton or logic and load with vsts
Looks super complicated
you just add a loop, you make nothing...
