Serato Studio would be a good thing to come back and visit again. I ended up buying the full version some time ago and they update they are making to it have turned into a full fledge music producing suite that it way more simplified than Ableton or even Waveform.
serato studio ain't no joke. I use FL, Maschine, and MPC but Serato is that DAW that you use and then take what you create and drop it into FL to fine tune the mastering or you can just do it from serato. my last tracks/remixes were all done in serato. I could not have pull them off in FL or Maschine from soup to nuts.
What kind of processing do u do when taking a song from Serato to FL? Cuz I’ve been wanting to switch out of Serato just to try new stuff or maybe start my tracks in Studio and then finishing them up in FL but don’t know how to…
Yes Alan watched this a few times now, thank you. Got the trial then subscribed. Going to look for mix down tutorial from you. Need to get into automation more too. Put 2 tunes together with it in a week. Thanks again
I'm defo recommending this one to some of my (none producer mates) that really would love to be able to fiddle around a bit without being overwhelmed :D Damn man loved that last beat
Need help or advice: Serato studio is my first Daw and the only one I’ve use and I really like it, I really want to try out FL or even Ableton but I’m so attached to the workflow of Serato that it’s not letting try new stuff and it’s kinda overwhelming the other daws even if I have a basic idea of how to use them…
big ups to stranjah & yes i serato! it is a greaaat tool i use it frequently to align my sounds / samples with the mix. production flow is ez and fun! DJS !! LISTEN ! THE SELLING POINT === SERATO DJ & SERATO STUDIO seamlessly integrate with each other!! meaning you can make edits fast ! within a click into your mix lineup ! it is next lvl convenient!
It’s not about the program, but the final result. You can have the most extensive programs, but never make something as great as someone could do in a basic program. It’s all about creativity.
@jbchiwhood I agree that the artist is definitely the main determining factor of the end result, but having the more equipped programs really allows artists to go alot deeper and more have more creative freedom with the more advanced features of 'the popular' daws. Then again it's also all just about preference
Thanks man for this tutorial. Thinking of buying this but it seems a little 'leftfield' compared to some of the other sequencers out there but your vid tutorial cleared up a lot of the mystery. A big thumbs up bro.
Do you know if you can use serato DJ hardware with this DAW? It looks very similar to serato DJ and it would be nifty to use decks in studio for scratching/hot keys ect
Can I upload a sample from youtube? Just any song I want? I cant find any support for samples besides using the pre made kits. (literally my first day pls be kind)
I hope that at some point we'll be able to like, specify the number of bars there are in a scene, rather than just always have it be an even number. Like sometimes I wanna just have like 3 bars in a scene.
True, but you don’t get samples/ready to use vst’s like more modern daws have. Trust me, I’ve been using reaper for a few years now and I usually just use it as a mixing platform for semi finished tunes
Which style do you like more LIQUID or MINIMAL roller? 😀

Wow that is cool!! Integration is key if you’re a DJ
Stranjah Fire as usual! Please oh please turn the speed session roller into an actual tune! Mad
Can we get more serato studio content please :)
instant producer in a box ;)
You the man!!!!!
its like using sync but for producing hahah
Yeah pretty much lol
I can see how this would be a very useful tool for beginners.👍

Easy Captain, I use Serato Sample all the time in my Maschine set up, I think I might give this a go man🌻
Do you know if you can use serato DJ hardware with this DAW? It looks very similar to serato DJ and it would be nifty to use decks in studio for scratching/hot keys ect
It will read your serato DJ crates to use in studio but it's a separate program

As long as you created it
Is there a way to add swing to individual cells like only the hats or snare instead of the whole drum pattern?

That’s true there is the odd occasion that I want that too
I've gotten to used to Abelton tho it's not the full suite. It's still cool to see you experiment.
What about exporting? can you export stems from the free version??
you could also use reaper if you don't have any money at the moment

cool tutorial) bro pls next videos layering kick 🤘
would love to see you building a tune on reason some time bro
Not interested in the software, sorry. But love watching you create something from nothing with anything. Props.
Produc8ng on a budget? Take reaper. Its cheap, powerful and fully customizable.
Producing on a buget = pans and spoons and a nokia ^_^
Reaper is not easy to you as SERATO
Why would a Reaper advocate be around here watching Serato videos?.... =)
I would like to see you do a Rhythm Roulette type video. Purchase three records while being blindfolded. And just find samples to flip!
just like bamboon?
Everything you do on top right of screen is blocked by your picture in picture! Why not drop it down to bottom right where the screen is bare?
Is this free for life???
Only the free version is (which is more limited)
Looks a bit klunky to work with and hard to get down to the nitty gritty.

smashing
Not sure I'd call that a DAW.
What else would you call it other than a digital audio workstation? Is that not what it is?
not sure why you wouldn't coz that's what it is
@@charlyreed7474 In my opinion it looks like more of a sampler / sequencer and a fairly basic one at that.
@@dylvasey this isnt basic.
