Super fun! I love this piece of music and I love the variety of versions of it online. It's always joyous, but this one feels like pure fun for the musicians. They probably all played it for decades and this was a chance to push the tempo and have some fun with it. Sounds like it worked for the audience and it definitely worked for me. I love coming back and watching it every year or two, makes me laugh all over again. Thanks for posting this!
Looks like Adam Rapa??? Video quality is not the best, but that horn-playing sure is! That is fun! But geez my ears are smokin' just LISTENING to it that fast!
Too fast. Sloppy as compared to the one I watched a couple of days ago (San Francisco Symphony - Bugler's Holiday - 7/4/1996 ). This country is teeming with college groups that can match this.

I love this tempo, fuck what these other herbs are talking about
Incredible! 🙏🏻 🎶 🎺
Thomas is a gem. Brilliant!
best rendition ever.
Seriously??? This is a totally fubar edition. I stridently suggest you check out Al Hirt's rendition on his album POPS GOES THE TRUMPET!
Awesome!
DAMN!!!
Who is/are the guest trumpet(s)?

@@thomream1888 the bald one? That is Thomas Gansch from the Austrian ensemble Mnozil Brass 👍
Yes- I'd like to know too, so that I can avoid anything else they've recorded!
Armchair critics are at it again.
Da ganscht es wieder ganz ordentlich.
A string bass against 50 wind instruments is cowardice

The tempo is way too fast. They did a good job keeping it up but unneeded.
weeny weeny weeny weeny
Way too fast. Sounds pretty clownish.
It sounds like an unGodly mess. They clearly haven't done much practicing together as a group.
