I also love 11:53 ! The detail in the shot is really great, and I think the latitude shines with the sky not feeling overbearing, but the shadows of the trees still having detail. Great work!

Recently came back to Tri-X to rekindle my love for it, and to once again try my hand at that classic B&W look and feel. Still working on compositions however, but with the fall weather turning gloomy I’m hopeful! Shooting in bright sunny conditions opened up the possibilities, many thanks for that!!

If you're doing B&W photography then you have to do your own developing. It's easy-peasy! Scanning can be done with a good scanner - or phone these days. Inspired by the recent "Civil War" movie, I returned to doing developing and scanning with a simple Kodak cardboard "mobile film scanner" - just some filmography fun 🙂

Aside from the online community Kodak itself has provided information that Tri-X can be underexposed by 1 stop and developed normally especially when using developers like D-76 or XTOL. A excellent resource for this information is the Technical Datasheet for the film. Also you can get very fine grain with Tri-X 400 when processing it in XTOL.
