imagine wrestling 300 plus days a year, and doing overseas tours with 12 to 14 plus days when they aren’t home to see their families, just for someone to say that its fake.
When people say "fake", they mean it's pre-determined who wins and loses. And they also mean it's not like combat sports in that the contestants are trying to inflict as much pain/damage as possible. We all know it takes toughness and skill and stamina to wrestle. It's just a misderstanding over the word "fake"
There’s no misunderstanding other than the wrestlers who think they’re actually real fighters and get defensive. They might be tough, but competitive fighters are something else and a much different experience.
I certainly wish that these reporters would get together a panel of former and current reality show stars, and ask them whether or not their shows are fake or scripted
I feel professional wrestling is choreograph and scripted but still I feel the action in the ring is real. If wrestling is fake, why would the wrestlers get hurt? The way I see it, when the wrestlers get hurt, it is the real deal. It is a lot to it, much we do not see, but I feel the wrestlers have to be in top shape and train continuously and know how to take body blows and protect your body.
They are trained professionals so they are not gonna completely knock someone out with a punch if they can make a good looking punch without doing so but they are definitely still wrestling
I remember watching the Vince and Bob Costas interview. It was one of the craziest things I ever saw. It was like the captain of the debate team pissing off the school bully. 😂

The media has ALWAYS hated and looked down on wrestling. They think they're "too good" for it. I don't even know why talent agree to go on these shows, especially in the 90s and 2000s.

also if fake meant you shouldn't watch it, tv, movies, video games, and youtube would all be doomed.. and we'd all be bored.
This. Just this.☝️ Click bait bs.
"Do you really want to hurt me?"
*chairshot*
"OH MY GOD!"
Great edit.
As Virgil got older he looks more and more like Scatman Crothers.
9:35 shawn stasiak is a doctor? mind blown
I guess he's not such a meat-head after all.
Turns out he's a chiropractor, so only kind of a doctor.
😅😅😅@@jliller
This was really well put together.
seeing someone like steve blackman actually break character and yell is shocking
Call wrestling fake in front of one of them, but don't come crying to me when they knock your ass out!
But it is still fake though
Beating me up is real but the jobs still fake fighting
LOL… check out Undertaker at 3:13.
He’s like, “Yeah, you take this one Vader!”😂😂😂
This video really forgot half way that it was suppose to be about wrestlers being pissed off.
LOL at Scott Hall shitting on Virgil even after their in-ring careers were done. Man was true to his craft.
I love this channel mostly because you include so many clips other people don't. Great job.
why is it they never talk about Steroid use by the cops around the country. or the drug use within our gov.
I can tell you now ( from experience), wrestling is more real than many people you think you know, believe are your friends or who you love.
imagine wrestling 300 plus days a year, and doing overseas tours with 12 to 14 plus days when they aren’t home to see their families, just for someone to say that its fake.
So how was Chris Jericho mad in his entry? It looked like they were having fun and laughing the entire time.
Sheik man was a savage. Steph looks like freak in the sheets, no lie.
@@kd2453 agreed
I certainly wish that these reporters would get together a panel of former and current reality show stars, and ask them whether or not their shows are fake or scripted
Moral of the story never tell a wrestler its fake
Moral of story lots of wrestlers act like children it doesn't matter if there are 6 feet tall they still act like childish
Unless you actually know how to fight. Then you’ll be fine because they don’t. Id bet on a bjj blue belt over half the roster.
Whoa...that dude was lucky he wasnt face to face with Steve Blackman 😂
That was Marc Mero
I feel professional wrestling is choreograph and scripted but still I feel the action in the ring is real. If wrestling is fake, why would the wrestlers get hurt? The way I see it, when the wrestlers get hurt, it is the real deal. It is a lot to it, much we do not see, but I feel the wrestlers have to be in top shape and train continuously and know how to take body blows and protect your body.
They are trained professionals so they are not gonna completely knock someone out with a punch if they can make a good looking punch without doing so but they are definitely still wrestling
Brock Lesnar: “I’ve never failed a drug test!” 🤣 A 100 on the 🤥🤥🤥🤥 meter 🤣
Seeing John Stossel get slapped down was so satisfying.
I remember watching the Vince and Bob Costas interview. It was one of the craziest things I ever saw. It was like the captain of the debate team pissing off the school bully. 😂
Beetlejuice verbal war Vs the Iron Shiek is stuff made from legends🤣
Having Abdullah the Butcher on your show is asking for trouble, be like having John Mcenroe and Hugh Hefner as the hosts of a kid show.
It is all “fake” until the wrestler smacks some fan with a big mouth. Then the fan sues the wrestler, claiming they were attacked by a professional athlete.
I still remember when I was a kid, my sister was mad she had to go to a car show with me and my dad, and was teasing me that wrestling was fake. I met Scott Steiner that day and asked if wrestling was really fake and the look of pure anger in his eyes I remember to this day lol
The media has ALWAYS hated and looked down on wrestling. They think they're "too good" for it. I don't even know why talent agree to go on these shows, especially in the 90s and 2000s.
The Sheik was hilarious when he snaps lol.
I'm looking at my childhood hero in a different way after doing six of them
Howard Stern asking China for sex is crazy. And then Beetlejuice and The Iron Shiek omg 😂😂😂
Its not real or fake, it's somewhere between the two
Depends how you define "fake."
It's more real than TV or movies, since most of the time there aren't reshoots or stunt doubles or special effects.
It doesn't help we now have something called "reality TV" that is fake.
@@jliller the moves hurt which is real, but the items used are not always what they seem, the action is called by the wrestlers, fake banners are waved, sound effects and noises are pumped in, moves are sold, plenty of it is fake
I almost spat out my cod liver oil reading the title
I'm sure someone else pointed this out but.... half of these aren't even about people getting pissed.
17:25 this should be one of the biggest memes in the world! Triple H really looked floundered right there. 😆😆😂😂🤣🤣
Landsberg needs to know it's rude to interrupt people while they're trying to answer his question he had asked
Love how it turned from "Wrestlers that got pissed" to "Wrestlers sex life". Smh
You watch you tube get stuck with an ad to disrupt what your watching to get back to the video for the channel to push more ads! Pretty soon it's gonna all just be 1 big fkn ad no videos!
It’s ironic hearing hogan come after mick foley with that “cheeseburgers and m&ms” line, when I vividly remember on an episode of hogan knows best, the hulkster was eating a left over cheeseburger as an appetizer for his breakfast. He’s took the easy way of steroids and living the fast life, but talks down on others who look more natural. Growing up is realizing NWO Hulk is him being himself.
4:52 DAMN that was a cold line from Mick 😂
Jericho looks like an infant next to Shaq and Barkley.
13:47 Virgil actually died today. Rip
As a wrestling fan, it's incredibly insulting when people find out I enjoy watching wrestling and the inevitable remark is "You know wrestling's fake right? As if all the movies and TV shows people enjoy are 100% Gospel. I could only imagine how much more irritating it is to hear it as a wrestler.
thank you for those howard stern highlights. that had me rolling.
I remember being a kid a jumping off shit trying to copy them, and you know what, we got hurt haha going the distance later and trying the chair shots were brutal, I’ve fallen but not off stuff night after night during matches it’s insane.
If someone doesnt like wrestling and they think its weird, its natural for them to call it fake. You can call it scripted, but basically only the outcome is scripted. Punches mostly aren't landing, moves like piledrivers aren't actually connecting, wrestlers throw themselves across the ring, how do you easily describe all of that? Its FAKE. Even Kurt Angle has said the WWE title is fake compared to his gold medal. At this point in 2023 its crazy to me that people still get offended by the word.
The only thing more fake than WWE is politics
Haha Shaqs elbow drop! Lol dude ive never seen that! Haha
Met Virgil as a kid, was super nice … underrated for sure
Gotta love the iron sheik, dudes my spirit animal.😂
16:44 daaaaamn
The interviewer in the thumbnail looks like Neil deGrasse Tyson. Now I mental age of Vader moonsaulting him and I want it to be reality so very much
They say wrestling isn’t fake, it’s predetermined.
It's true. Brock's never failed a drug test.
Yeah, when you go on Nancy Grace don’t expect anything that’s not going to make you angry because that lady does not pull any punches.
That goldust interview on stern is amazing 😂
Merry Christmas Wrestling Flashback
10:31
Bob should have gotten a slap for suggesting something like this, disgusting
You sure that wasn’t Lori Lightfoot near the end?
17:32 that aged well
Not "Myer" "Maar". Lol
Fake? Get in the ring with 1!
What, for a fake fight? Which is what it is.
roddy bringing up owen hurts and you know it hurt him
Did Shane McMahon tell his sister her boobs we’re cute? What!?? lol. Shaaaannee
'Duuu u really wunna hurrrrt meee'
*Ass-beating Immediately starts*
What happened in my country Kuwait 🇰🇼 was probably one of the reasons to debut kane. Because vader got held there and they changed the feud with taker for that reason. And then started the kane story with paul
17:28 the Vince one there...oh man how that aged 😳
Yeah, hasn't aged well at all.
John Stossel's special case case of knowing nothing about wrestling
Bro sed theres nothin in the ufc to talk about ur not a fighter😂😂centimeter punk was so mad lmao
It's a fake wrestling competition, that's why people call it fake.
Wrestlers get mad when asked if it's fake cause IT IS FAKE! Not all of it but A LOT of it is! And they know it!
After watching this I felt the need to start going back to church!
