This actually makes me appreciate the piece more because I wasn't really hearing the harmonies anymore because it's so overplayed, but hearing a remix is like hearing for the first time a piece you've already heard.
I can definitely understand what you're referring to. This is the ultimate proof that that piece was originally written as a classical but it does not require a single change to play as trance or anything else...
It's like sitting in a supercar and realising: "Ah, so this is what it looks from the inside!" :O

I think Bach would have made it sound more like a fusion of Robert Miles, Pink Floyd, and Deadmau5. Just my opinion.
What would Bach have done with Toccata and Fuge in D Minor with our technology? The piece is like the breath, spirit, and ghost of history wrapped up like a gift from God.
