No matter you are Black or Green, calling Alicent a snake for standing her ground is ridiculous. Otto was right that Alicent either has to carve something out for her and her children, or do nothing and hope Rhaenyra wouldn't kill her children to secure her own power. She learned that her former best friend that she desperately tried to win over flat out lied to her face and made her feel like a fool for going out of her way to protect said lying friend/step-daughter who used the lie to remove her father from the office. What's more, it means that Rhaenyra cannot be trusted and never really trust her. What if Rhaenyra said she wouldn't harm Alicent's children when she becomes queen? What if it is another lie? Without her father, Alicent was pretty much forced to stand alone in order to secure a place for her children. And if she cannot trust her husband's family, she will always have the support of her own.
I understand Alicent she has to defend herself and her family from Rhaenira because people change with time and probably her best friend for the seek of power have to kill Alicent kids so that no one claims her reign. 💚

Traitor to whom ??
Lol...
The beacon of Hightower, do you know what color it glows when Old Town calls it’s banners to war?
My queen 💚
So proud of her. Standing up for her house 💪
Damn hightower theme is dope
Let the dance begins 🔥💚
1:05 always gives me chills
had chills the first time this scene came on, have chills now listening to the track
I need Rhaenyra in her black and red dress now.
@Booper Dooper Sounds very Cercie.
@@Infernal460 Alicent more like cersei youll see
@@jaydayoungog3917 bah Rhaenyra isn't better than Alicent... they both will do shitty things
@@jaydayoungog3917 Oh I disagree, Alicent is sober and is as clever as she thinks she is.
Rhaenyra, not so much as we will see.
@@Infernal460 to be fair. Rhaenyra only starts to lose her shit properly after loosing a few kids, getting backstabbed by those she trusted and dealing with a series of escalating disasters.
The reminiscence of Light of the Seven gave me goosebump right away. This foreshadows so well the absolute mayhem this show is gonna turn into. God I love it!!!
Some BGM takes time to grow on you, others straight up hit the cord. This one is the latter 💚
King Viserys's Entrance from episode 8!

When you hear Leinster music, you are dead, and when you see Hightowers wearing green, you are also dead
The beacon is lit! The Queen calls for aid!
As i am on team Blacks this moment gave me chills felt like Alicent was coming for rhaenyra and everyone who supported her. Great Scene
That music sent the right goosebumps to the scene
This theme is a masterpiece.
I highly hope you put these on Spotify 😍
This song makes me team green. Just this song 🐲🔥

Most are team black but so am I particularly because of a man who may be missing an eye 👀
I’ve read the books, and I absolutely hate the Greens. Their ambition caused one of the worst wars in Westerosi history.
I love the Hightower theme
This piece is like a perfect fold for "Light of the Seven" from the Game of Thrones episode of the same name.
