This game is 100% just as precious as the trailer makes it out to be and like a literal antidepressant. Honestly, this is my personal indie of the year, everything about it is like a big warm hug in a video game. BUY IT ❤️

Just beat this yesterday, and it cuts surprisingly deep. The bard isn't perfect by any means, but he's who I aspire to be in life. Someone who can look the horrors of the world straight-on and still be contagiously optimistic.

@@vaenkhar7236 I'm still an optimist, but it's never been contagious. Often I struggle to balance things when trying to empathize with friends that are too scared or frustrated to look at things optimistically.

As someone who has played through this game completely, and found every secret because I'm just one of those guys, I can safely say that this game is fantastic. Cheerful appearance with incredibly dark undertones, lovable characters, a fantastic soundtrack, and a compelling story.
If you have the chance, buy this game. It's short, but darn it, it's good, wholesome fun to really pick up your spirits. If you ever feel sad, open the game, and just sing the sadness away.

It's interesting. The undertones of the game and narrative are quite pessimistic.

Yet you, the bard, bring an optimistic and heartwarming perspective.
The music, visuals, and story all seem very endearing. Getting this for sure ♥️
Way to late, heh I played ti yesterday and I love it it doesn’t matter if to late, it matters if you love it
I finished playing this yesterday. It's really fun, and wholesome. The game doesn't really repeat puzzles as much, and they give you new concepts and ideas to mull over in gameplay mechanics and in world building. The maps are very interesting, and the dialogue is ON point. The way that this game develops and makes you care about the characters by conveying their hopes, aspirations, and fears is just... amazing. I love it so much, and by the end, I was bawling my eyes out (other specific moments made me cry too...). Although some parts are down, and quite frankly, dark (which makes sense due to what exactly was happining in the story at the time,) the Bard (which I named them Elin in my playthrough) and other characters (depends on whom) always tried to put a hopeful spin on things and have hope towards the future (it does depend on what circumstance tho). This game was mostly a bubbly, happy game with very funny parts and serious parts at the same time. I highly sugguest playing this game. (And if you do, try to get all of the dialouge-- especially with Miriam. It enhances the whole experience and makes you feel more for this world and the characters in it. ;) )

This game looks amazing. It grabbed my heart the second I saw the trailer. Just the music, the story, and that part where they had everyone singing together as the sun was being black out.

Please play it, it's one of the most interesting story-based puzzlers of all time! It delivers a comedic story while still being serious throughout. I wouldn't call it life changing, but even so it manages to make you look at life with a more optimistic perspective!!!

This game is very underrated.
Just finished playing it.... its wonderful. It has some dark moments but, all in all, it feels like one big shot of hope! The music is powerful and supports the fun, light gameplay as well as the personality of the characters and areas they are in. I found it worth every second :)
I love that the main character actually has a personality, his own thoughts, fears and emotions that reflect what's going on in the story... without it feeling like its meant to be a "cardboard cut-out" personality of who the game developers think is playing. Ha-ha. Pun.
Anyways, I totally suggest it to anyone who wants a feel good game.

This is honestly one of the best games I have ever played. The story is fantastic, the characters are charming and its downright wholesome.
It was also the first game to actually make me cry at the ending. I highly recommend playing it if you haven't already it's a great experience. There was only one problem that I had with the game and that was the length. I feel like it is so short and when I finished it I just wanted more. Other than that, this is a fantastic game!
I cried at the end also.. I felt a lot of pressure to save everyone from the hero!! And got worried as the health bar of the dream king went down 😭 “nooo don’t die” was me crying as the screen went black and white, but then was hopeful as I rang the bell, very emotional trickster!! But very lovely story ☺️

finished the game a week and a half ago
when i first saw it i thought it would just be some lighthearted, dumb adventure - and it was but it was more. the characters and music is just amazing, the story is neat and i love it with all my heart.
I thought it would be weird honestly, but I saw a ytber recommend it saying it was one of their favorite games and I was curious to find out why… and I’m so glad that I did!! It’s now one of my favorites!! I just completed it yesterday, and it was such a fun little adventure!!
Oh my god, where do I begin? After 100% completing this, it gave me the same sensation of a game like Earthbound, or Celeste. I cannot recommend it enough. It’s my favorite indie game of the year. I beg of you, play this game.

This game is amazing. It's an amazing creative puzzle game and story path game. The dialogue is hilarious. I'm always smiling when I play this game. Once I finish it...I'll play it again but make different choices.

This game is amazing! The game is good for people who like puzzles and rhythm/music games I guess. I am on Act Four currently and the bard becomes kinda depressed but then gains hope again, I won’t spoil too much though
People are gonna hate me for saying this but the art direction in this game made me think of Night in the Woods (in terms of that construction paper cut-out type of simplistic artstyle) , and that's not a bad thing! The game looks like it could be cool if they find alot of different ways to utilize the singing mechanic.
