The Tremeloes are an English beat group founded in 1958 in Dagenham, Essex, and still active today. They were part of the British Invasion, where they grew to prominence.
I'm retired US military. I had the pleasure of serving 3 years in UK and had a chance to see the Tremeloes at the Corn Exchange in Cambridge in 2010. At that time, original band members Dave Munden and Rick West were still with the band. In the US, Oldies radio stations give "Silence is golden" and "Here Comes My Baby" airplay, but not much else. So I was pleasantly surprised at just how large their discography really was! One of the interesting things I found was that many of their songs were covers. However, it always seemed that The Tremeloes version was always superior to the original. In this vid, I'm more than a bit amused by the wild hair. They look like four cavemen! Oh the 60's....
I remember it so well. I am 67 and the youngest of 3, so heard it for many years. Love their open, smiling faces and bright eyes. Another generation, wasn't it. 🎉
Wait a minute - you prefer these phonies? These guys are paid to look that way as they lip synch - is that really what we want? So much good music today - go find it!
@@lukehauser1182 What is phony? Obviously, they could sing in harmony and play their instruments. They had done it since the early sixties, and there are many live performances to proof it. I rather listen to these guys than the trash today.

Another brilliant band from the 60s,The Tremeloes music was excellent and they always looked so happy when they were playing, unlike some of the miserable so called singers of today. This is a great song from 1969,it’s so catchy,you can’t help but tap your feet to it. Excellent.

Life is puzzling, when I read you (I don’t know how old you are) and for the other comment tells that it’s sad one and he’s 75 now, and for me I used to listen to it as a title music for my team football matches, which was always accompanied with anxiety and fear of the unknown of what the opponent team going to do 😅 it really had given me hard time. puzzling, because I’ve just knew today that it’s the song “my little lady” 😊. I know I didn’t do enough to know what this music is!! Wondered how this piece of information (for decades) is known and famous at some people and some place, and the opposite at some place and people. I really must say, that the "Beat Club" Producers surely gave it a true "Psychedelic" - flair! And so even in Black/white! Had almost forgotten how the melody went, maybe because I found the B-Side of the single; "All The World To Me" better, after a while. Hadn't heard this since 1969! 😄✌📺☮
