Vastly underated group........had success with band members own compositions...... Met them a couple of times......great to know...... Thank you for the music.......
I had the great pleasure of seeing The Tremeloes live when they were at the height of their popularity. Although didn't have much material of their own, their performances were a joy to watch. They also seemed genuinely to enjoy themselves, and each other's company.
The Tremeloes had it all! Great musicianship, well-rehearsed, tight arrangements and top-notch vocals - at times with 4-part harmony! This was very fast-moving and enjoyable to watch! I wanted it to go on! Are they in the Hall of Fame?
had a great opportunity 1972 as a 15 year old playing at a gig in Ireland before the Tremeloes. they were a great bunch of guys and chatted away back stage did the same the following year at a different gig with my self and the drummer being the only members of the previous yrs band. they remembered us and chatted away again very chuffed.
mike pierson, especially Rick Westwood. I love his falsetto vocals and lead guitar work. Alan Blakley is my favorite member, even though he died 25 years ago. I still think he’s a great rhythm guitarist.
It is an actual guitar that was made to replicate a sitar sound made by a company called Coral. I played one once and the action is almost on the fret board! They’re very sought after today and come with a hefty price tag.
They should have been called "The Sideburns." Seriously though, this band was highly overlooked. Their greatest hits CD is one of my favorites in my collection. Should explore their individual albums more.
I saw them twice live in caberat in 70s mountain dew a fave, all the hits & more, brilliant, brilliant show proper musicians, video brings it all back.. super!
EXCELENTE BANDA.
Their transitions are so flawless it's unbelievable; and with such perfect pitch harmonies; and yodeling and goofing around, in case you get too much serious about It.

I never realized how good a guitarist Rick West was!!
Rick didn't push himself forward but all the great guitar work in Tremolos records was his work.
It's amazing drummer playing and singing ...
I did it as well for 55 years. I'm told....not that bad.
Chris Curtis of the Searchers could play drums, sing AND stand up!

What an amazing set❗ vocals, harmonies, drumming, guitar- they were superb💖
Absolutely superb and a great performance of Proud Mary.
A great little set.

@@nicholassakamoto2455 Nice to see Rick West (Westwood) playing electric sitar live in concert on a couple of songs
What guitar setting or effect box makes the sitar sound?

A great group with a great sound I thought the audience could have picked them up a bit more than they did I know I would have
You gotta respect a group of dudes who can sport serious mutton chops and do fringe leather justice.
This is a great performance from a real group ie musicians vocalists and entertainers. Look Listen and Learn this is sixties class.
Brilliant, singers, brilliant musicians, a real class act!
My ALL-TIME-FAV at 13:54 (Silence Is Golden)
Such a luscious song. Their harmonies on it were amazing.

@@peterchecksfield9958 Thanks they're connected to The Tremeloes and is the drummer from Christie the same drummer from The Tremeloes?
@@ernestschoenmakers8181 No, Dave Munden only drummed for The Tremeloes.
@Peter and @Ernest - However, Alan Blakely's brother Michael was in Christie, and that's how the two groups became intertwined on "Yellow River".
I don’t understand! 😜
Great band! - Chip is really struggling with that BD mounted ride - oh well :)
....sorry, but where is the Supersong of 1970 = " Me and my life " ??
It wasn't released until late August - this performance was probably taped either in June or very early July.
Thank you for this Answer !..............
Whats wrong with the audience?? Completely sleepy
Dagenham boys I believe .
