I used to have it but God healed me. My periods used to stay up to 6 months apart but right now it's so regular and very healthy. I have children and my weight very ok. God is still in the business of healing people. I got tired of taking medications and cried to God after years of infertility

I was diagnosed with PCOS 5yrs ago at the age of 28yrs old. I made intensive research about it, and I started taking measures like taking metformin, combination3, and bromogen tablet for high prolactin. Stop soda and unhealthy meals.
Always checking my fasting sugar and blood pressure. Also, my Urine LH level during ovulation. And managing my health as a medical laboratory scientist.
Got married 3rd of January 2023, and by 28th of January 2023 I got a positive pregnancy test. Half-way through my pregnancy journey now. I will share my PCOS journey in details in my RUclips channel soonest.

I suffered with PCOS for 5yrs after my first child I did not even know, I was just not getting pregnant no mata how much sex I had or position I do. Visited a gnea in 2002 Dec, and I was told I had PCOS and multiple fibroids with a weight of 93kg was placed on metformin and was told to loss just 10kg cause I was trying to conceive, I took my weight journey serious in January2022 and in 4months I weighed 72kg and that same year I got pregnant and in 2023 my 2baby boys (twins) came forth. The pregnancy came with lot of fears and worries but God saw us through it. No fibroid operation, I carried my boys till 37wks and 1days. God is still in the business of doing miracles.

Wow, it's so nice that someone could come out and share their story.
Sometimes, I feel like I was born with PCOS, cause I've been so hairy since birth and family will tell me it's because I'm just hairy.
Then I've always had irregular period from the onset, I started my period pretty late when I was in SS2 and it does get worse as you grow older.
I've always heard people gaining weight dueto it but mine was the complete opposite. I lose weight. I hardly sleep and yh, still a student but awfully stressed out. Tried lots of stuff to gain weight but it doesn't work. And sometimes, I get comfortable with not having my periods regularly cause having it is just not comfortable because I get heavy ones. But.... Sometimes, you get worried
I did test and scan, was told I don't have PCOS and it's just hormonal imbalance but I was having all the symptoms and all but no cyst and the fact that I was the only one in my family with that issue
My skin also was not making it easy, from facial hair to melasma, to skin tones. My skin got darker and it became lighter and had people tell me face to face I was using bleaching cream when I was not. Also, the look and stigmatization especially from males when they find out you have facial hair. But I've learned to love myself as I am and decided to just stay healthy and enjoy the life God has given me.
When it's time to have kids, God will take perfect control.
Sorry for the long story, I just needed a place to dump my story and glad I could.
Everybody's story is different, but to all women out there, just stay healthy and love yourself with a Kung-Fu grip. Lead a Godly life and be at peace, everything will be fine

I was diagnosed with PCOS 10yrs ago at the age of 22.
I had a scan and yes I had polycystic ovaries. I have high androgen levels.
What’s worse for me is no matter how many medications I’m given, I barely menstruate. Sometimes 8months straight, no monthly flow of blood. However, every month, i go through the signs of ovulation. I was given iron meds to increase my blood levels but it’s not working.
    I have serious acne.
Between 2012 and now, i have gained like 40kg in total. I was exercising, eating healthy yet I just wasn’t shedding the weight. I can go more than 30hrs without sleep. If I force myself to sleep, I get migraines
Living with PCOS has not been easy for me but I’m trying and managing.
I recently relocated from Ghana. I have an appointment next month with a specialist.
    I am still hopeful
To every woman out there living with PCOS, YOU ARE NOT ALONE!!!!

I found out i had PCOS at 15, and I've been living with it for 5 years now. One thing I've come to discover is as i grow older, my symptoms just worsen. The year i found out i had PCOS, i didn't see my period for 8 months straight, and now i haven't seen my period in 1 year, 4 months. Facial hair itself is a struggle. Emotional imbalance is another thing on its own. I can't count days that ive broken down because of my emotional struggle. Of recent, I decided to embark on a rigorous weight loss journey and it just worsened my abdominal pain. Women living with PCOS are going through a lot and its so saddening to see that society does not care at all.

I'm in the office now and I have tears in my eyes because, I also have this challenge. Between 2016 and 2018, I was really depressed. I dreaded staying in school hostels, I was really isolated because I didn't know how to explain to some of my friends why I don't menstruate so most times, I will just buy pads so that when any of them is running out of theirs and they ask from me I can give them so that it looks like I also have my monthly cycle. I've tried drugs of course, prescribed ones but, it seem as though until I use these drugs the flow doesn't come, I just had to stop using them. The last test I did said my progesterone level is low, I was placed on Provera drugs. I just stopped because I couldn't imagine that I'm taking drugs to have menstruation. I'm adding up but people think it's enjoyment that is causing it (lol). I've stopped any medication now and I'm trusting God for my healing. I'm married now and somehow I'm anxious about fertility but, my trust is in God now and not drugs.

The only thing I battle with is acne and now watching PCOS related videos and reading through this comment section, I keep asking myself, Do I really have PCOS???

My life story, I was diagnosed of PCOS when I was 27, before then I've been missing my period back to back then in secondary school. Funny enough I was happy but I never knew that not seeing my period was as a result of PCOS, my period has always been painful and lengthy even till date , I started noticing facial hairs,my lower belly got puffy, I became very conscious of it just when I herd about it over the radio. It's been a Rocky journey all along however I changed my diet, reluctantly started exercising then sleep more but the mood swings haaa no be here o.
But God will help us, I want to have children and live free of it and I will continue to seek better ways to get it off.

It's not easy to even talk about it I'll say I've had PCOS since I was born, everybody's symptoms are different. I fir one have polycystic ovaries, I'm hypertensive, constant body pain , headaches, male pattern hair, the more I try to lose weight the more I get bigger, it's as if I have all the symptoms, I've had missed periods of 8 months , abdominal pains the list goes on. I'm now trying to treat it and the doctors prescribed hormonal birth control pills only for it to make my blood pressure high . I'm already tired of going to the hospital it's not even getting better I've spent alot throughout this treatment journey. Thank you for sharing your experience ❤️ I hope and pray we all get better 🙏.
And thank you aproko doctor it was because of the whispa app, I started treatment

I can really relate with this video. It is not easy living with infertility brought on by things you overlooked and didn't know could even affect you. I was diagnosed with Asherman's syndrome and also later with PCOS. Going in and out of the hospital without getting desired results is really depressing. Feeling all these symptoms and pains that comes with it both mentally and physically. The weight sometimes affects one's esteem and one just builds a wall and tries to have thick skin. Having a good partner and support system has also helped me cope. Thanks for speaking up sis. Thanks doctor for this video.

Consistent pelvic pain prompted me to do a pelvic scan and on two occasions it detected PCOS. I was calm though because I have a little knowledge about it and because there's treatment but when I saw the cost of the test I was like ah they should make it affordable so that women with conditions like this will get treatment. The weight gain and the thoughts of not being able to conceive is really depressing 🥺🥺

I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2020 and I've been battling it for three years now. From expensive tests, to abdominal pains to fluctuating weight gain and loss. As I grow older, the symptoms keep worsening.
Right now, the weight is back again and it came with acne.😀💔
Everyone keeps asking me why I'm getting bigger 😂
I've heard older women talk about PCOS and what it does to them and all the infertility and psychological effects and all ...

Mine is worse. I remember one time I was in a meeting and I stood up and blood was all over the chair. Sometimes I could go 4 months without menses. I did lots of tests and the diagnosed pcos. It's been a struggle. Some times if don't see it for months I start feeling bloated. The hairs on my shin and all. Now I fear I might be infertile. See I don't like menses and it's problems but I'd rather be seeing it every month than what I am passing through

Dear Benny, you have a beautiful smile and I love your voice. You're indeed a strong woman❤. 3 months ago I started having high prolactin issues where my breast were constantly producing milk like a nursing mother...me wey never born😅. Visited the clinic and was told its as a result of hormonal imbalance and it would go away with time and Ofcourse it did. Last month my last set of molars were erupting ...mehn!! The pain was unbearable I went to the pharmacy and got some prescription, I felt okay and everything healed. Last time I saw my period was march....did PT last week and it came negative. Everyone at work keeps saying I'm getting so fat, my friend told me I look like someone who has just put to bed...😢. This morning my sister looked at me and said I really need to watch my weight...she even gave me miracle seeds to chew. After stooling the whole day...she asked why my stomach still looks big. I noticed my stomach is bigger and likewise my breast, I was happy for the latter sha😂. I wake up everyday tired and with body aches, last night I slept on the tiles cos I don't seem to understand my bed again....talk of belching?? I can't seem to remember the last time I did that after eating. I have googled my symptoms too...just waiting for this month end to go do my scan and know howfar. My heart really goes out to you...thank you for sharing😊😊❤❤
