It took me 3 days to find the name of this anime because i watched it along time ago :(( I just need listen this OP and ED, omg this so good. 7 years but i can't forgot.
*Takao:* "Kazama ending up with Roka or Funabori? No, I don't want that! I want him to think about me and no one else for the rest of my life! For ten years at least!"
I never laughed so hard, reminds me of we never learn and that anime is a fucking goldmine of hilarious content, I’m just sad this anime didn’t get a second season
I don't think its ratings were all that great when it was airing around spring 2014 I believe. Most likely because the show's premise itself was pretty tropey and commonly seen at the time, despite as we all know it instead being a super satirical deconstruction of the "video game club" harem romcom genre, with more emphasis on being a comrom. Brain's Base did a wonderful job with the adaptation and it got me laughing as hard as when I read the manga. They're well known for their work on OreGairu, My Little Monster, Spice & Wolf, and more recently To Your Eternity. The portfolio already gives you an idea of the type of quality series Brain's Base dips their hands into. So it's really a shame that D-Frag is written off as just a harem comedy when it has tons of depth all intrinsic to the general tsukkomi delivery, ranging from meticulously thought out build up and pay off, either in immediate joke telling or macrocosmic story beats (having certain elements of the story played off for laughs and merely for satirical parody greatly contrasted with serious themes on adolescence and self-identity, fool to straight-man) -- to extremely subliminal "blink or you miss it" exposition expanding on already existing character archetypes granting written characters insane amounts of depth comparative to what you'd expect from a run-of-the-mill gag series. I'd even argue that the subtextual romantic developments are complex enough to rival OreGairu's slow burn "read between the lines constantly" style. Hopefully, manga sales perform well over the next few years, giving Brain's Base ample time to revaluate whether they should revisit and revive this series.

the anime itself was awful...good concept, bad characters...the one main guy yelled way too much. for no reason what so ever. every other antic that happened "AHHHHHH" i gave up and dropped it. =w =
i think its nice though, its one of the anime i could rewatch so many times without getting bored, you can say its currently my top 1 fav anime, btw i watched around 400 series of anime, it wont be bad if i said its my top 1. why top 1? because the characters are good, and main guy yelled too much? i doubt u watch alot of anime or even understand japan stuff, its called tsukkomi and boke, the girls are the boke and the guy is the tsukkomi, its rare to see the male character with tsukkomi fetures aside from a soft one in seitokai yakuindomo. for the girls, they each have diff character personality and their boke style is different, each of them are cool + epic. so before you said its awful, try understand it more.
The three goddesses of voice acting in one anime.
Shizuka Ito, Aki Toyosaki and Kana Hanazawa.
also Chiwa Saito and Ami Koshimizu (Kill la Kill's Ryuko Matoi)
This sounds so nostalgic :(
ik :(

Try that with the words I think/thought in front.
You're probably going to hate Denpa Kyoushi when it gets animated.
Yuuzuki Subarashii Kinda agree with you. The main guy yells way TOO MUCH. It would be better if it cut down a bit.
