For payment method, if it's trustworthy supplier, then T/T (wire transfer) is the best because it's the cheapest. Fixed fee like $20-30 for any amount. Just go to your bank to confirm all details about how to do it. If you don't have 100% trust on the supplier, then Paypal or finish the trasaction via Alibaba Trade Assurance will be better. For payment term, of course the later the best, but it all depends if the supplier can accept.
Thanks. Does the PI has legal value/consequences? Does China or other countries like USA or UK recognize PI especially if there is a breach? Will Alibaba black list a manufacturer or supplier if they violate the PI?
As I mentioned in the video, PI also works as a sales contract, if you don't have an specific piece of contract to sign. If all the conditions have been clearly written, and has approved by both parties, then you can take legal action if they breach. However, it's not very worthy to sue suppliers if the order is small. Finish the transaction via Alibaba trade assurance will be much better in this case, since Alibaba can help you get some compensation.
