    Hi I want to start a (very) small business. I want to import accessories from anywhere and sell it,but it should be of good quality.I dont’t have a credit card or anything to place an order by myself so I am going to do that through someone or a company. So can you recommend me a few websites where I can buy cheap and good quality accessories?

    I live in China and I am not selling anything? What a shame.

    Man ... where were you when I started importing from China four years ago? LOL!

      Thank you. Hope you had a good experience on importing from china in the past years.
      Four years ago I was still writing blog posts about how to import from China. It takes me quite a long time to get used to making video content, which is way more challenging than writing, but the audience engages more with videos.

    What if you are not sourcing for business but just a consumer ?may be like a vehicle,machinery etc.
    What is the cost of transporting a car from China to East African countries.
    Thanks.

      Hi Jonathan, I'm sorry that we do not help with large vehicle such as cars, all of them are famous branded products. And the importing process is very complicated, also the tariff. So we do not suggest customer to buy this kind of product from alibaba.com, just from your local market will be better.

      @@Jingsourcing just how complicated it is or is it becoz it is expensive on shipping cost .OK I thought it is possible to source vehicle to Kenya through alibaba. Thanks .

    • @Jingsourcing
      @Jingsourcing  3 года назад +2

      @@jonathan3325 for machinery is not hard, as long as the size is over than 2CBM, which is a minimum shipping volume of sea freight shipping. You can either ask the supplier to help you find a freight forwarder to quote shipping cost, or find a local one from your country to get quote. For vehicles, it depends on the type, of course it not suggest to import a car from China for personal use, because of all types of regulations. But if you just import a tractor that running on the farm instead of road, then I think you can simply import it like machinery.

      @@Jingsourcing thanks for your enlightenment. Am from Kenya I've seen nice affordable electric cars on alibaba site. ,I have not heard much of this that's why I asked for I thought you deal with all products sourcing.

      @@jonathan3325 probably you want to buy small electric cars from China, but I don't recommend because I think it's still expensive if you just buy one. You can check this video, a guy bought a $900 car from Alibaba but the total cost is about $3,000. it's a very interesting video, by the way. ruclips.net/video/qxl_vgYP3Rg/видео.html

    For me to use Fedex to ship something from China to Eastern Europe costs me something like 2400 euro for a 68kg package.What a joke 😂😂😂😂.Even if i want to import something from China how am i supposed to sell the product here.Even if i find a trustworthy supplier and a good price ,the cost of shipping and the taxes will probably make the product 200% more expensive.Why would i even bother to import something from china...

    • @Jingsourcing
      @Jingsourcing  3 года назад +1

      thanks for the comment. 2400 euro for 68kg, which is 35euro per kg. 100% your supplier quotes you the FedEX's official price, and your products is also lightweight but big size which is charged by dimensional weight. For importing to countries in East Europe, the best way is still to ship products in large quantities like FCL or LCL, to reduce the shipping cost on each product. Or only order small size but high-value products and ship by courier, and the supplier should use the courier (DHL or FedEX) via an agent company for lower discount
      .

      @@Jingsourcing what you explain in your youtube channel is pure theory just like the rest.Maybe you have an eCommerce bussines or a small shop and you want to buy 200 t-shirts from china.You can't buy a full container,because you have a small business ofc.After you manage to get a good price you find that you pay more on the shipping and taxes.You have to buy 1000 or 2000 t-shirts or more for the cost/product to drop.Importing from China is not the best option for some parts of the world.

    • @Jingsourcing

      @@nuconteaza6018 T-shirt is a kind of high-value product when compared with other daily consumers like toys. The FedEX cost to east Europe is about $10 per kg recently (due to pandemic), and a T-shirt is about 0.15kg, so the shipping cost is $1.5.
      It costs $5 to $10 to purchase a T-shirt from China, based on the quality, and the shipping cost is only 15% ~30% of the product cost, but you can simply sell $10 to $30 by retail. But for low-valued products, sometimes the FedEx cost is equal to product cost or even more expensive, so you have to ship by FCL or LCL, because the shipping cost is 80~90% cheaper than FedEX.
