For the ASICS, if you don't want to deal with them anymore, rather than paying some profits to colocation with someone... why not just sell them and buy more GPUs or GPU related equipment. If you are paying more than electricity for ASICS, why would it be more profitable than just paying electricity for GPUs? Plus, if the merge drops prices of a lot of minable coins as expected, ASICS will sell for more now than in the near future and you won't be paying for colocation if mining profitability drops.

idk what I'm missing here. And you are obviously smarter than me. But if you have miners that make $227 a day after electricity bill. That's 80k a year. You should invest into getting more power? 80k in renewals like solar would be a lot of power. I just feel like that's a lot of money you invested to get those miners that you aren't using. Also I don't know a lot so disregard if I make no sense.

There is a guy in my town starting up an asic mining farm and he needs 1 MEGAWATT. his electric bill is going to be around 70k/year. Our electric cost is .08/kwh, most likely the lowest rates you will find in the country. He is planning on 400 units at a cost of 7 MILLION DOLLARS. I work for the local utility and we literally have to set the biggest transformer we have to power his farm. I must admit he has a large set of balls to take on that much risk. I am curious if he knows anything about difficulty..... Lol

I am not as big as you in power consumption, but something that greatly reduced my electric bill and improved my profits, especially 2 years ago when gpu mining was barely making anything was solar. I am not sure if you have the space.. I invested in 4 x 2kw SUN brand grid-tied inverters and solar panels from sunelec and I cover all my mining power consumption during the day and only use power really at night. The solar alone saves me around $25/day in electric cost, so it adds up very quickly.

You might want to reconsider the A10 ETH miners, combined you would get about $80 per day with power costs around $2- 3 per day.
