Damn good to have Billy Corgan, James Iha, and Jimmy Chamberlain back together , the way it should be. Just feels right, and the town of Chicago should feel the immense pride in knowing three home grown guys do good ...
Agree. Although I will say I think the intro at least was influenced by Bytor and the Snow Dog from Rush. But yes, one of my favorite songs to come out of the 90's; Mountain Song from Jane's Addiction is another.
Money for nothing was incredible. When we rank things, it starts getting generational which makes it pretty tough. Because how about the rift for Purple Haze? Where do we put that one? They’re all awesome and I don’t know how to rank them. I just know they’re all great and original.
Wow! That’s so cool! 😊 The recent “The World is a Vampire” tour is also my 2nd time to see the Pumpkins. The first one was way back 2015 at Soundwave Festival here in Melbourne 🤘🏻
I bought a VHS video back in 93 because i couldn't go see them live. It was called 'Vieuphoria'. It was right before Mellon Collie came out. I wore it out.
I was there!!!! Coolest show I've ever been to...I vividly remember them showing the old cartoon Thunderbirds on the big screen behind them and that public service announcement about crowd surfing how you'd get kicked out.
Sounds like Billy can still sing this in the original key, that's impressive. So many singers lose their tp end as they get older. On of my favourite guitar riffs and Jimmy a beast on drums.
She had her chance to come back a bailed so her loss plus she never could handle the stage fright back when they first started no way she’d be able to manage her stage fright at the level the band has reached now
That sucks. My coworker saw their last show in WA presumably right before the portland one was cancelled. He said he struggled through a lot of the songs due to being sick.
Saw them at Shoreline in Mountain View, CA and the vocals were hard to hear the whole show. Was better with SP but STP was very hard to hear. Still great show though!
This is a good example of the inconsistencies that can happen on a tour. Cherub Rock in the Adelaide show was infinitely better than this version. Not unusual for a Melbourne show though...
@@JC-lu4se I was commenting on how this performance is much less than the version they did within another show on the same tour. It's crap compared with the show I saw. Pretty obvious if you read the comment...
I read that D'arcy was wanting to be a mother and more into family than traveling. Lets face it, the core, Billy Corgan, Jimmy Chamberlain and i guess time heals wounds as in the case of James Iha...the three main creative parts of the music. I say just go with it and the latest album they made is showing they are as good as ever

Thanks for sharing ❤
cherub rock is arguably one of the greatest rock riffs of all time.
Great song

It's not money for nothing but it's in my top ten, maybe.

@@aaronschutte7160 I used to air guitar money for nothing so hard as a kid lol and you're correct, there is a generational aspect to it
Billy & James guitars get along incredibly =)
I hitch hiked 200km to see smashing pumpkins in November 2000 in Centurion..South Africa… fond memories!
Wow! Billy's actually playing in the right time🤯😂
James = Awesome 🤘
Git chills hearing this. I've never seen them live. WTF is my prob!!!???
Saw the Adelaide gig - another tick on the bucket list!!
Great show....
I saw the Pumpkins back in 1994 in Salem,VA and I can still remember every second. The opening act was red red Meat.....

@@jessehess5951 still have my copy. Man, that was a long time ago...

actually its a half-step down from the original
I miss D'arcy
They don't.
@@byronlemay2166 haha BAM!
I think that some of them do miss her.
Why?
She had her chance to come back a bailed so her loss plus she never could handle the stage fright back when they first started no way she’d be able to manage her stage fright at the level the band has reached now
Rockin venue!!! 🙌✊🌞
I love how hes singin with his old voice on the old songs again
That acdc stuff ⚡
The "too many cooks" tour.
But good cooks. Michelin star
Just a shell of what they once were. I can’t watch them without D’Arcy.
Napakalupet! Sana bumalik si D'arcy.
God I am missing the nineties
The 30 Years Later Tour
I would've seen SP with Jane's Addiction in Portland last year, but the show was canceled 😞☹️
That sucks. My coworker saw their last show in WA presumably right before the portland one was cancelled. He said he struggled through a lot of the songs due to being sick.
The sound guy or equipment isnt right. Seeing them soon in indy, and everything I've seen online on this tour doesn't have good sound at all

Do you think it has anything to do with the fact that u saw it live vs on shitty phone video or was it genuinely that much better.
He sounds flat
cellphone mic is trying its best
To be honest, he has been soundimg pretty damn amazing the last 4 years or so, for his standards of course
You mean pitch-wise? The sound quality is great for a cell phone.
Bring back D'Arcy Wretzky
No! She's a junkie!
