  • Occasionally, Nismo will give its fans what they want and sprinkle some Motorsport magic on a Nissan road car - like this Nismo 380 RS.
    It's one-of-263 ever made and one-of-61 ever made in black! It produces a hefty 257kW/397Nm that is sent through a six-speed manual and then a rear LSD differential.
    Watch until the end for the drive by!

    I can’t put in words how excited I was to play this video. Once I read the description and title. I subscribe to right away and honestly it’s refreshing to find someone who’s as knowledgeable as you, and this video was a real treat because as a huge Nissan, 350 Z enthusiast, as well as overall car enthusiast who owns a 350 Z with a HR motor, I can already predict that I’ll be playing this video very often and looking for more uploads from your channel!! 💯🙌

      Would be easier if you rolled the car onto a ramp or timber pieces that would’ve given you plenty of room to clear any fouling issues.

    • @CultandClassic
      @CultandClassic  5 месяцев назад

      @@johnvigolo4972 no, as the problem lies with the car in the air and how deep the jacking points are. If you dont extend the pads to the highest point (sketchy as you can hyper extend them and make the car wobbly) you risk the upper part of the hoist arm pressing against the underside of the car
      Sure its plastic and bendy and won't "damage" it per se, but i don't like metal on plastic contact.

    Great video my friend. I'm over in Scotland and have a white 380rs. Had it for a few years now.The nismo chassis also has some extra welding carried out at Autech and the Yamaha damper bars behind the front bumper and at the rear strut tower, if you were to remove the boot floor piece you shoukd be able to see it 👍🏻

    I want the VQ38HR so bad in my Infiniti Hybrid Q50 Sport with the VQ35HR. Suspension wise, I have all the same parts with the nismo SPL suspension and the upgraded struts with swift springs and a stiffer subframe track oriented bushing with a quaife LSD. But just the addition of the VQ38HR will me the hybrid Q50 the fastest hybrid with a naturally aspirated engine on the road.

    How does a 350z rs compare to a 370z or nismo in speed and power? I imagine it can hold it's own. The regular nismo can barely compete with base 370z.

    Few points that are not accurate in the video. Missed some points as well. Also this car was never made for the US market. We did get the Nismo 350z from 07-08 only 1613 were made between the two years, but the RS was exclusive for Japan only.

    I enjoyed the video, but you keep referencing the 350Z. Did you perhaps mean to say 370Z? Z32 is the 350Z whereas the Z33 is the 370Z which is identical to this 380Z. Anyway, I'm a 350Z owner, would also love to have a 370Z, and never knew a 380Z existed until I saw this vid.
