    If someone still didn't get his first brilliant move, you can get a free one if your opponent plays the Damiano Defense against you. Since it's a really bad response by black (Defends the center pawn but blocks the bishop, and also loses on the spot) and a relatively famous opening in low elo, you can sacrifice the knight and take the center pawn, and there, your first brilliant move.

    • @cocenjoyer85692
      @cocenjoyer85692 9 месяцев назад +2

      True, but this is called the Damiano Gambit, and it is theoretical, book moves. And i separe teh brilliant moves, what does that mean? Well when i play an "brilliant move" that comes from an opening trap it doesn't count as a brilliant for me, since i wasn't the pne who made the move, it is just all part of a trap and the moves are memorized

    my first brilliant move was an accidental bishop blunder but game review said it was brilliant so i didn't think it counted but the first one i did intentionally was a bishop sacrifice to pin the queen to the king with a rook
