Hello Michael, how observant of you!😂 Yes, not very well throughout the holidays and still not a 100%, but getting there. I hope that your recuperation is going well. Mix silk AND peacock, you end up with a white dove. Now that’s magic!!😬 Both super materials for fly tying.👍

Hello there, nice to hear from you. Silk is a great material to work with, although it may be a little expensive in some locations, it’s a material that will last a long, long time, thus being good value for money. Gutermann is a well known and readily available brand, but there are many others out there that will serve.You can, of course, make a good dubbing from cut offs, which I have demonstrated previously. 👍
