Hi Steve, we just picked up a 2024 Grand Highlander. My wife has set up her toyota app and profile. How can I set up the app? I cannot finish setting up the app with out the QR code. Is there a way to get back to that screen? I'd like to set up my own profile.

Hi Steve, thanks again for your prior information and this video. I did get my wife's phone connected so we're set there. One final question: When we are both in the car with our respective phones, will this in any way confuse the system as far as which phone to connect with?
It will look for the primary first and then the secondary. You can manually select the secondary. There is a way to have them both active but that could cause confusion

Which Apple Car play do I use there are several that pop up? The Toyota one with the red logo, Car Play& Connect?
CarPlay doesn't require an app. It is built into your phone. If you're looking for the Toyota app that DOES need the QR code to enable, that is the red one that only says "Toyota" with nothing else. If his car play is turned on I am assuming yours is off? Can you both receive bluetooth calls?
@@rlj682001 Yes. If one is set to CarPlay and the other is just as a phone, both can be connected and both can make and receive calls.
