    Great video! 1:50, it's a safe Brazilian cherry called "Pitanga", which is
    very popular in the Northeast of
    Brazil. Native people use the
    leaves to make medicinal tea.
    Also, if you have an opportunity,
    try the pitanga fresh juice or the liquor, both of them taste good.

Suriname cherry is what we call it in the Caribbean (Greater Antilles). Fruits have so many names. Love this video!

    25:30 That´s what I always say. There are a lot of safe places in Brazil. Brazil is a continental country, almost the size of Europe. There're huge differentes between the cities in many ways, and that includes criminality. But when all the data is put together and we get those average numbers, statistically, things tend to look bad and people tend to think that wherever you go in Brazil you will be in danger. You know what I mean? Even in big cities we have huge differences between the neighborhoods and places. Overall you have to be a little bit smart in those gigant cities, but in places in the state of Bahia like Boipeba, Morro de São Paulo(not in São Paulo), Itacaré, Praia do Forte, Itacimirim, Costa do Sauípe and lots of other places, you can really feel the peace emanating around you. :) And many of them are not as paradisiac as Boipeba, they're more touristic and vibrant, with charming houses, charming 'pousadas' etc.

      As a Portuguese living in Brazil for 5 years I agree... And that was not my idea of Brazil when I first came here. I live in a good place here called Maringá and I never had a bad experience in Brasil. I never had a bad experience like being robbed here in brazil.
      Brazil does have violent places but you can find safe places. Huge country with a great history, food, beaches, nature, culture, music , people.... You'll find it all in Brazil!

    Hey, I love to watch your videos. I’m a beach lover too. I wanted to know, why don’t you visit St. John USVI it is a national park, at night the sounds of creatures, the smell of the flowers, makes it so special, just don’t go on Holidays. It has heavenly beaches and each of them are so different. On the north side they have Hawknest which is rocky, Trunk Bay which is just beautiful (with white powdery sand), Cinnamon Beach is huge and amazing (it’s my favorite, I think you can camp here), Maho (with sand more like in the Florida key, it has the more turtles) and many more. I love to see this little island in your videos by the way there are many other islands in the area.

    8:36 -> OMG!!! Stop!!! Get something....so Brazil(they better sell cigars)....
    8:58 -> Super deal!!! ...especially for that location.....
    10:48 -> Carol é tão linda ..... e a música é tão boa ..... e o oceano e o céu são magníficos .....
    12:43 -> The same as 'tea'....the color is from sun dried vegetation falling into the fresh water....the 'tea' affect can't happen in salty ocean water because vegetation won't decompose....
    15:45 -> It takes a lot of manual labor(many hours per week) to keep those coconut plantations looking like a golf course...collect the coconuts.....pick up, remove and burn the fallen palm branches......
    18:09 -> Oi Carol.......!(bronzeado legal)
    21:34 -> Wow!!!! ...luxury overload.....
    26:34 -> Very funny....had to laugh.....and only something a true Rio Brazilian could say....

    Great video. Beautiful island. Are there any poisonous snakes there?

    13:37 The substance that makes the water red/brown is fulvic acid. It is a natural fertilizer from the organic matter in rich soils.

    Your videos are always so amazing. Perfectly edited. The perfect music. Always spectacular drone footage. You should have at least half a million subscribers. Beautiful content. Brilliant video as always. Amazing the colors of the waters. Beautiful horses. Beautiful beaches. Cool trailer ride behind the tractor. Thank you for sharing. Have a great Sunday.

    Thanks for making this video 😊🙌🏽 Because of you two it's officially on my list for when I visit the northeast in the new year. *A practical question:* How'd you find the wifi connection on the island? I work online as well so that's the only thing that concerns me about island life (when I was on Ilha Grande it wasn't reliable enough to work for a few months)
