Ooooooooow, thats the shape I've been waiting for. Sounds rock solid too. Such a shame it doesnt have the drive train from your board... would justify the price too. Maaaaaybe you should consider such a shape for your next board, but with the minor adjustments you mentioned. Keep 'em coming.
It’s really massive. Definitely remove the riser pads without them it would be much much better
Ahhh fair enough, dont really get a concept of the size of it in the vid... always figured you as pocket-size (low center of gravity, good skater etc ;) ) Concave looks great on it too.

Elwing is a french company located in Bordeaux and there are no hills back there
Never been there but it makes sense
Bordeaux is actually a bit "hilly" not like San Francisco hilly but still :p (But sure the elwing is not fast uphill, it can handle hill quite well, but not fast)

Thanks for sharing ... Kind of in doubt because of one motor, how are the brakes ? Can you come to a stop on a gentle slope (or like a bridge ?) ... any connection issues ? terrified about runaway boards afters my onewheel went crazy on me and futuremotion totally ignores that fact..... undecided between nimbus and halokee.. Halokee still seems to be manoeverable enough and maybe more comfortable on higher speed ?

The skateboards range was probably affected by being in a parking garage. Probably acts like an echo chamber.
Real talk though iv considered getting a mavic so i dont need to hold onto the camera, why not have a mavic hover slightly in front of you? Wouldn't you be able to capture better angles and rig lines?

Yeah, only 10S 1P means the batteries will suffer a lot of stress from discharge. I predict battery lifespan of 1 to 3 months before it completely dies. They should at least do a 2P battery...
It´s really a pity they put such a small battery...otherwise i would have bought it!
Great shape and size for the deck. It's a shame they put that ugly handle/hole in the nose.
my thoughts exactly. on the side would have made more sense, but better to not have the hole at all. it makes the board look cheesy.
i would just hold it by the truck.
It’s got bugger all range, a rip off Harry Potter name and only one motor....you’d be better off buying a hairdryer (and at least you could take the hairdryer on a plane) . For less than that you could pick up a mini wowgo or a Meepo , if you wanted a decently performing cheap commuter short board.
Anita Steele wowgo is 3kg more... not the same
@@duss1194 I absolutely agree..the wowgo may be heavier but at least it's fit for purpose and you can carry it without it dragging along the ground.

I bought this board. power sucked then got a wowboard and never touch it again. I gues if you want a small good looking board that can be tied to your backpack its ok. But its not 500 euro ok. my remote broke and my charger stopped working they did not send me a new one. spend over 100 euros extra. range sucks... its more like 5km . dont buy it. there are alot of 2 drive small boards out there that are way cheaper and have 2x the range.
I hate the feeling of acceleration coming for one side. Yuck!

Man, whatever fisheye lens your using is awful for vlogging. Fisheyes are great and make it easy if you can't hold a camera reliably towards yourself but the fisheye effect on this one is so extreme and can make many viewers feel sick.

it's nice that you're concerned, but as highly skilled skateboarder, Fab doesn't need a helmet for board that goes 32 kph (20 mph). as a fellow skateboarder, I only wear one at the skatepark or maybe going like 50 kph on an electric.
but at slower speeds, an experienced skater knows how to roll into a fall to minimize injury.
